Unlike many RPGs, merchants play a surprisingly important role in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition. They are often where some of the better items in the game can be obtained and if used properly can save you a boatload of time grinding and farming. Granted many items can be found in random loot and merchants will only save you time with farming if you already have a stockpile of gold on hand. But if you’re debating whether you should be saving up for those tier 3 schematics or ignoring the herbs for sale when you can just gather your own here are some useful things you should consider buying and why.Updated on August 26, 2021, by Juliet Childers: Finding the best gear and loot in any RPG usually means just finding it in a random sack or looting it off an enemy. But merchants and shops can sometimes have exactly what you need at a fairly reasonable price. When it comes to late game in Inquisition, this holds especially true. Here are the best items merchants sell in Dragon Age: Inquistion.
14 ﷺ Mystery Box
Perhaps the least useful item that a merchant will sell you is this optional Myster🦄y B🏅ox that leads to an interesting cosmetic reward. Sold by the merchant Deraboam in Val Royeaux for a whopping 10,000 coins, this Mystery Box will unlock a golden nug statue that when interacted with unlocks the War Table operation The Big One.
It&rsquo🐟;s a simple mission that rewards the player with five interesting mo𝔉unts called Nugs, though they’ll only be appealing to certain as they’re rather quirky-looking creatures. The only reason the Mystery Box would rank higher is if you must absolutely have one of these giant Nugs for your next playthrough.
13 Better (ℱOr Just Different) Horses ꧙
Speaking of which, M𓃲ounts are another thing you can purchase from Mer🅷chants that won't help you in battle, but will certainly make traveling faster.
Some players don’t like to use them as companions will temporarily disappear while riding and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:there won't be any party banter. It’s a choice between 🦩faster travel or companionship so it’s up to you whether these are worth it.
12 Great Bear Hide ꩲ
Some of the best items in this game are obtained via crafting which is what makes crafting materials such a useful purchase from Merchants. As you acquire newer and better schematics you’ll find the a💞mount of crafting materials you need will grow steadily larger and rarer.
Great Bear Hide comes in ha♕ndy not only for crafting incredible gear but getting the right look for your characters, too. It is a beautiful matte black color with some grey dusting, so having a decent stock set aside for transmogs make🙈s sense. Find it in one of three places:
- Winter Palace Merchant (Trespasser DLC)
- Legion of the Dead Camp (Descent DLC)
- Emporium’s Crafting Materials (Black Emporium DLC)
11 🌼 Blood Lotus (Herb)
Herbs are handy for crafting useful potions or upgrading the effectiveness of your potions. At the very least, you’ll be buying herbs from merchants to fill gaps you didn’t collect while out in the wild or as a reward for certain 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:War Table Operations.
But Bloo෴d Lotus, in particular, features in recipes for the offensive items such as grenades, jar of bees, etc. You’ll find yourself running out of them before long if you don’t stock up regularly.
10 Unique Mounts 🍸
There are four different kinds of mounts you can purchase, Horses, Harts, Dracolisks, and🌞 the aforementioned Nuggalopes. Each one is capable of taking more hits than the previous before running of𒉰f.
But there are also unique mounts like the 𝐆Bog Unicorn available part of DLC. You can still purchase them via the regular Mount merchant in Skyhold.
9 🐽Masterwork Scout A🦂rmor (Redcliffe)
Even if you are properly lev🍷eled, the Haven mission “In Your Heart Shall Burn” poses a formidable challenge. That goes double if you want to save everyone in the town, as well. Naturally, you’ll want to have the best gear possib꧅le to take on the challenge.
One such piece is 𒁏the Masterwork Scout armor available in Redcliffe for Rogues. Youꦗ can pair it with an excellent bow or custom daggers and a stamina, health, or damage-boosting accessory.
8 Dragon Crafting Materials (Descent DLC) 𝓡
There are a finite number of Dragon crafting materials available throughout Inquisition. It also requires 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:killing all of the High Dragons -- an act some players may n🎃ot want to commit. So being able to purchase the materials instead is a nice comprℱomise.
Some merchants in the very late game will have them, but the best source is the shop at tℱhe beginning area of the Descent DLC at the Legion of the Dead Camp. It has a finite, but large pool of all kinds of materials -- including Dragon Webbing, Dragon Scales, and Dragon Bone.
7 🅺 The Tactician’s Renewal
The Tactician’s Renewal is a consumable amulet that allows the player to respec their character’s abilities. The first one is very cheap at one coin, but subsequ⛦ent amulets will cost 345 coins from either the Blacksmith Forge in Haven or Skyhold’s Undercroft.
Hopefully, you won't have to buy a whole lot of these which is why it ranks lower, but the ability to redo your character’s abilities is i🍌ncred൲ibly handy when you made a mistake leveling up or if you want to tweak things a bit.
6 🎀 ൲ Inquisition Contracts
Farris The Representative i꧃s a special merchant who sells you contracts that unlock War Table Operations for you and your party to complete. Completing these contracts is a renewable and efficient way to amass Power and Influence, assuming you have enough coin for it.
Buying these contracts is a great way to amass perks and use your Power to ga🅰in access to special Operations.𒈔 The cheapest contracts he sells are 167 coin, while the most expensive will be 6,886 coin. You’ll want to buy a few of these now and then to strengthen your character and give you much-needed Power.
5 🌃 Elfroot (Herb)
This is another herb that can be easily overlooked until you♎’re down to zero in your inventory. It is the basis of most potions and is esse♉ntial when upgrading them, too.
You can only obtain Tier 1 and Tier 2 Herbs from 🐼merchants while Tier 3 Herbs are found exclusively in the wild or as an Operations reward. Merchants will save you time collecting more common lower-tier potions and tonics, but you’ll still have to hunt for the big stuff.
