Summary
- BioWare wants to make Dragon Age remasters, but admits this would be a challenge.
- This is because Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 used a different game engine to Inquisition.
- Because of this, it would be harder to package these games together like BioWare did with Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
If you're jumping on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age series for the first time with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you might be eager to try out the games that 🐻came bef♐ore it too. However, that might be easier said than done, as the first three games not only play very differently but can be a faff to get running.
For this reason, many are⛦ interested in remasters of the f💟irst three games: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Origins, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age 2, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition. This makes sense, given that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect got the Legendary Edition trilogy back in 2021. However, it seems that we shouldn't get our hopes up, as this would be much mo﷽re challenging to pull off than the Mass Effect c🐭ounterpart.
BioWare Want To Make Dragon Age Remasters, But It Would Be Difficult
Speaking with , Dragon Ageꩲ: The Veilguard's creative director John Epler touched on the possibility of a Dragon Age remaster trilogy. Here, he admitted that he would personally love to see this happen, but says it would be difficult because the first two games in the series were made in the Eclipse Engine, ✅whereas BioWare switches to Frostbite from Inquisition onwards.
"I think I’m one of about maybe 20 people left at BioWare who’s actually used Eclipse," s✤ays Epler. "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy [as] Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never sa☂y never, I guess that’s what it comes down to."
So, we might still see some kind 🐎of re-release of these older games, but don't expect it to be thrown together as easily as Mass Effect Legendary Edition was.
Hopefully, Dragon Age: Origins will get shown some love. As players noted before The Veilguard's launch, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:getting Origins to work o💟n PC is a real pain now. It can be done with mods, but that means you can't just pick 🍒it up and start playing as you would other games, at least not without a lot of crashes and in the worst case scanario, corrღupted save files.
