Only the highest ranked Seeker knows this detail, until it is uncovered in Inquisition. Once Seekers have done their yearlong vigil, they are actually made Tranquil and then touched by a spirit of faith. That i🎶s the secret to many of their abilities.
This was a big deal when revealed, as it meant that all this time Seekers knew the Rite of Tranquility could🥀 be undone but chose𒀰 not to.
3 While Their Abilities Are Like Templars, They Do Not𒉰 Use Lyrium 𝔉
Like Templars, Seekers are skilled in fighting against magic. However, they do not use lyrium for their abilities. They also have abilities that are additional that Templars do not possess🌱.
In rare occasions, some Seekers can have unique abilities. In a conversation with Cassandra, she says some Seekers can get other gift🔯s such as lighting the lyrium in a Templar's blood on fire.

1 🦩 Their Symbol Was Inspired By The Lady Of The Skies
The insignia of the Seekers has a long history. I𓆉t shows an "all-seeing eye" which comes from the Visus constellation. The constellation, according to its codex, used to be the symbol for the Lady of the Skies among the human tribes.
The sy🔯mbol for the Inquisition is the sameꦚ eye, but along with a sword. This relates to how the Inquisition of the past eventually became the Seekers and Templar Order. The Inquisition symbol was split in half with the Seekers keeping the eye symbol for their organization and the Templars taking the sword symbol for theirs.
