It took a full decade for a fourth 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age game to launch, and in that time, the project went through three iterations that we know of. So, it's unsurprising then that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a whole lot of ideas were pitched, but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ultimiately left of the cutting 𝓀room f✃loor, and one of them was🅰 a very🍷 different party camp.

In some concept art shared by Matt Rhodes, who did much of the art for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Veilguard, we get a look at where we and our party would have been hanging out between missions. In this version of the game, Rook and the gang would have travelled in a huge submarine, although judging from ๊the interior, it looks much more like a grand estate.

We Could Have Travelled Thedas In A Huge Submarine In This Version Of Dragon Age: The Veilguard

This concept art dates back to 2016, 🎃so this would have been for the original single-player vision for Inquisition's follow-up. Here, we get a breakdown of all of the rooms on the submarine.

Rather than giving each companion their own unique room, it seems that we would have found everyone lurking in common areas like we do in Inquisition. If anything, it's a bit reminiscent of the Normandy from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect, as we can see the bridge, mess area, storage room, workshop, and a sleeping area. Naturally, the captain gets ඣtheir own quarters - where else would those romance scenes take place? The Mass Effect crew might get freaky in public areas, but the Dragon Age lot has a little more shame. Unless you're romancing Blackwall in Inquisition, that is.

As f﷽or the choice to have us kick back in a submarine, that isn't surprising. A fourth🔴 Dragon Age game was always going to take us to Tevinter, which is something of a pariah state in Thedas. With that and its war with the qunari in mind, it makes sense that we'd be entering and leaving the country via submarine. It also seems that this version of the game had a greater focus on espionage, so you wouldn't have wanted the crew to be travelling out in the open.

If you're wondering how a submarine would operate in the world of Dragon Age, it sounds like the crew would have no idea either. Rhodes describes it as an "experimental secret project of an eccentric wizard," and in the concept art, we can see a mysterious engineer who keeps the engi🤪ne running through unknown means.

Alas, this vision of the game never saw the light of day. It was cancelled after 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:EA pushed for the game to be a live s🌠ervice, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:which was also then scrapped. According to the devs, there wasn't enough time to start from scratch again, so this live service was turned into a single-player game, giving us Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It's been reported that this is why there are fewer grand decisions and ꦕconsequences in The Veilguard, since this was 🔴a holdover from when it was an MMO.
