Much like in the screenshot below, it should be stuck to the sides of walls and look like a green crystal. When you pick it up, you should get between three and fi𒈔ve units.
That being said, much like the majority of resources in the game, you'll be able to find Etheric Remnant almost anywhere. You'll find it in every location, and it can be found🍌 in chests at alꦯl times.
The best thing to do is loot everything you find. You'll be getting a lot of gold in the meantime, but you should find plꦺenty of Etheric Remnant.
Finally, you can also buy Etheric Remnant from the Black Emporium in Dock Town once you've unlocked it.
