Champions are difficult enemies that can easily defeat you if you're not careful, so employing strategy🎶 is of the utmost importance. Whether it's knowing which attacks to dodge (and when) or using the right skills that will inflict heavy damage, here's how to defꦿeat Quyn the Sparkwielder during Gate of Lost Ages.
How To Defeat Quyn The Sparkwielder
The Gate Of Lost Ages tasks you with defeating a champion in the Dock Town's Lost Company Mine area.
Here, across from the Fen'Harel Altar, you'll find another champion residing in a Blight Cyst.
When you're ready, destroy the Blight Cyst and release Quyn the Sparkwielder, a level 20 enemy with the Frenzy, Necrotic Imbued, and Electric Imbued, qualities that make this foe powerful.
Quyn is weak against Fire but resists Necrotic damage.
Overwhelm and inflict burning on Quyn to easily eliminate its shield.
Stacking conditions like bleeding and burning are 🥀excellent tools for chipping away at enemy health, especially against lower-level foes.
Be careful to avoid Quyn's jump attack, which deals area-of-effect (AoE) damage within the red outline paintedꩲ on the floor before the jump. Dodge and counterattack so you don't endure too much damage.
Partway through the battle, Quyn will summon reinforcements to help in the form of a horde of Drowned Miners, whic🐠h can overwhelm you with their sheer numbers.
Thin out the miners (weak against Necrotic, resist Cold) as so꧑🔯on as you can to return your attention to Quyn.
Continue peppering Quyn with attacks, stacking the burning effect as much as possible to inflict chunks of damage on this Fire-weak foe.
If Quyn is weak, feel free to finish off the beast, as Drowned Guards can be tanky with their🦩 shields and can unneces🦩sarily prolong the fight.
Continue attacking and dodging in rhythm, and Quyn will go down after𝕴 enough Fire-based attacks.
What Rewards Do You Get From Gate Of Lost Ages?
Once you defeat this champion, you'll receive t🐷he following🐠 rewards:
- 350 XP
- + 50 Grey Wardens Strength
- Etheric Remnants
- Vhenadahl's Tears
- Calcified Pustule
Take the Ch﷽ampion Essence to the roots in the Converged City and you will complete the Gate of Lost Ages quest.
