BioWare Explains How Romance Will Work In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

For starters, BioWare reaffirms that every companion is pansexual, so there are no restrictions on who you can get with. This is a departure from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition, which locked some romance paths behind gender and race (Solas only getting with a female elf, Cullen not gettiꦰng with dwarfs and qunari).

The devs also explain that each companion is handled differently, with game director Corinne Busche saying, "Each romance has a very different flavour." For example, we're told that some companions will be upfront with their intentions, whereas others are more "awkward" and inexperienced.

The companions are also described as pansexual rather than playersexual, because their attraction isn't specific to the player. This also adds to the "most romantic BioWare game" label, but it isn't anything we haven't seen before. If you leave Iron Bull and Dorian alone in Inquisition, they'll get together. Zevran and Isabela also have some fun in Dragon Age 2 if left to their own devices.
