168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: The Veilguard will see the return of "loved characters", as BioWare promises some "sneaky surprises".

This comes from an interview with Dragon Age: The Veilguard's creative director, John Epler, and the creative performance director, Ashley Barlow. Speaking with TheGamer staff writer Gabrielle Castania, Barlow touches on the topic of returning characters, confirming that fans will see some popular familiar faces.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Has Some "Sneaky Surprises" With Its Returning Characters

"[There's] so many new characters," says Barlow. "I mean, we have some sneaky surprises of returning, loved characters. But that's the big thing, we have 700 unique characters to talk to."

Epler also touched on this in the interview, when asked if he was exc🅰ited about a p♎articular returning companion.

"We're going to leave that to people to play the game," says Epler. "Obviously, there's Scout Harding who's back, but other characters coming back. I'm excited for people to see them and especially see them in the context of having ten years pass since the last 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age, both in the real wor🍨ld, but also in t⭕he world of Thedas."

BioWare 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:previously confirmed more returning charac🅘ters than what we've seen already when revealing the game's cast. Unsurprisingly, the studio is keeping some actors a mystery for now, so we don't figure out which old characters will be making an appearance.

That point about the passage of time is an interesting one. Ten years is the largest time skip we've had between Dragon Age games, so a lot would have happened to our old friends off-screen. Dorian is a popular pick for companions who are likely to return, which makes sense since he's from Tevinter. But of course, that means he's been shaped by ten years of Tevintan politics - and Solas' shenanigans.

As we previously covered, this ten-year jump means it's been 22 years since Dragon Age: Origins. And with the creative leads on The Veilguard very aware of how time shapes characters, there's a lot they could do with the cast of Origins. For example, any Grey Wardens will be inching closer to their Calling, so we have tha༺t lovely bit of angst to look forward to. Fingers crossed, the Hero of Ferelden found that cure, yeah?
