Luckily, some of these mementos are straightforward to find by following the markers on the map, but there are a few tricks you'll💦 need to know to complete the last segment of this quest.
Feel free to collect these mementos in any order you wish. This guide offers a front-loaded app🍎roach to combat encounters, clearing the way for easy c𒁏ollection.
Where To Find The Five Dalish Mementos
Begin the quest in Ruins Reach, where you'll have your choice of which of the five Dalish Mementos you'd like to track down first.
Memento One – Follow The Trail Of Halla
For simplicity's sake, follow your marker to the forest outcropping in Ruins Reach and encounter a group of enemies you'll need to defeat.
Once the enemies are defeated, look on the ground for a trail of halla corpses to follow.
Halla are deer-like creatures that resemble does. Their bodies will lead you to the memento🐠.
Follow the trail toward a small cliff with some rocks by the edge, 💯and examine the area behind the rocks, facing the cliff.
Investigate the halla statuette on the ground to claim the first memento.
Memento Two – The Shadowy Grove
From the first memento, head down the path on your right, then look to the left to spot an enemy standing in front of a wolf statue.
Enter the Shadowy Grove area and defeat the group of magic-hurling Shades, taking care to avoid their attacks.
Once the area is cleared out, face the same direction as the wolf statue you saw at the start, and look forward and to the right, to an area of trees adjacent t༺o where you entered.
Here, you'll spot a broken Eluvian mirror along with the second Dalish memento you need – a Ripped Page.
There's an Evanuris Altar in the area you can use,ℱ which bestows blessings if you hit four targets.
Memento Three – The Ancient Aqueduct Shipwreck
Head north then east through a gate by using the lever next to it to gain access to the Ancient Aqueduct area.
In this area, there are paths to the left and right, including a threatening group of enemies you must defeat on the right side.
Defeat the Fade Construct in this area quickly using Electric damage.
ꦰOnce the area is cleared out, you have another memento nearby to locate.
First, find the owl statue near the gate where you entered, then turn around and face the series of wrecked ships in the water.
Jump to the furthest ship and investigate the burned bodies to claim the third memento and continue your quest.
Memento Four – Into The Cave
From the gate where you entered the Ancient Aqueduct, take the left path, and continue following the wall until you enter a clearing.
Here, you will be attacked by a large group of Sh🌜ades.
Dispatch them, and turn back to the wall you followed into this area, where you'll notice a small entrance to a cave.
Enter this tiny cave and collect the Neatly Folded Note – the fourth memento – on the floor.
Memento Five – Back To The Grove
Head to the westernmost area of the Shadowy Grove, wher🌼e you'll encounter a powerful Sentinel that ဣyou must defeat to progress.
Search the area around the white fog barrier, and you'll encounter a ledge with the fifth memento – the Blood-Splattered Journal.
Your quest will be updated. Follow your map marker back to the boat on the shore w🍃here the A🐽nxious Spirit awaits your return.
How To Perform The Rite
Once you speak with the spirit, you'll need to perform a rite to soothe it.
Immediately after your conversation, defeat a group of enemies that spawn.
While the marker can be confusing, you should turn around from the boat and head slightly up the hill and to the right where you'll notice a giant rock you can interact with.
Use Rook's Eternal Hymn to move the Resonant Slab and enter th🌼e enclose🎶d area.
Inside the closed area, you'll find a broken device; use Bellara's Tinker on the device to open a Fade Portal directly above where the Resonant Slab was.
Climb up the rocks and return the Resonant Slab to its orig༺in🌺al position, creating a ledge for you to enter the portal.
What Rewards Do You Get From Finishing Spirits Of The Dalish?
Once you enter the Fade Portal and approach the altar in front of you to perform the Rite, you'll soothe the Anxious Spirit and complete Spirits Of The Dalish, earning:
