With the next game in the series still a very long way from release, fans of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age series are left to don tin foil hats, po🅠re over lore, and wonder about what is to come, a๊s well as what has come before.
“One day the magic will come back. All of it. People will be just as they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see.“ Sandal the Dwarven crafting wunderkind says in Dragon Age II.
This could relate to Solas and "The Dread Wolf Rises", but there are so many other ques♛tions about Solas and elves themselves left unanswered.
What is Fenris the Lyrium Ghost up to these days? What about Merrill or her Keeper ꦿor even Briala (if they survived the player's choices)? Furthermore, what about the whole reason why Solas is on his mission to begin with: the Elven Gods?
Let's address questions fans still have about elves in Dragon Age.
10 𝓡 Did the Elven pantheon get reincarnated?
There are a few popular fan theories out there regarding certain members of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Elven pantheon of gods known as the Evanuris. It includes a kind of reincarnation where the gods/goddesses reappear as characters found throughout the Dragon Age series. Though Sandal being June (the god of crafting) is popular, the most popular theory is that Sera𝓰 is the reincarnation (or perhaps original version) of Andr✃uil, goddess of the Hunt.
Legend has it that Andruil liked to hunt in a placed called “”, but would come back a 🐓little madder each time. Eventually, Mythal had to wipe her memory of the Void and her knowledge of how to get there. But it stands to reason that the madness stꦬuck around all the same. It may also account for Sera’s oddball habits, behaviors, and sensibilities.
But how likely is this to be true?
9 Will the other Forgotten On𒀰es ever come into play?
Don’t confuse these with “”; those are demons. These are exiled members of the Elven pantheon known as Anaris, Geldauran, Daern’thal, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fen’Harel (shocker). Un🍷fortuna💝tely, not much lore exists around the other three members of this group.
What fans do know, however, is that Fen’Harel betrayed both and the Evanuris when he sundered the Veil. Before that, these ▨three supposedly dwelled in a place known as “The Void” or “The Abyss” which, as mentioned before, supposedly drove Andruil mad.
If Solas succeeds in restoring his old world, one can’t imagine these guys would be too pleased with hiꦕm despite attaining their potenti🌊al freedom.
8 🐠 Are There Any Other Evanuris Wandering Around Thedas?
Solas is a special example as he slept for hundreds of years before waking up to enact his plan to remake his old world and people. But Mythal (better known as Flemeth to fans) was ൲just up and about walking around, using willing supplicants or daughters to live forever.
If that’s the case, could there potentially be more Evanuris members w🔯ho survived the sundering of the Veil? Let’s hope it’s not Ghilan’nain who may or may not have experimented on her fellow elves and tried to merge them with animals. Neat.
7 🐎 𒐪 Are The Corrupted Archdemon Dragons Elves?
Urthemiel says get up, clap your hands, say yeah!
Fans of the original game Dragon Age: Origins will recognize this archdemon as t𒅌he big bad who led the Fifth Blight. His real name, as above, is Urthemiel the D✅ragon of Beauty as worshiped by Tevinter cults. He has a few pals responsible for previous Blights and two more still slumbering in the Deep Roads.
Some fans recall that the ; they just look like dragons. They are corrupted old gods and Tevinter gods at that. But👍 there is a case to be made for these gods having been elve🅺s at some point.
After all, Mythal can turn into a dragon! Some fans go as far as to say that and the Archdemons are trying to tear down the Veil.𒁃 Wha♏tever turns out to be true, there are still two old gods remaining for the Dark Spawn to find.
6 🍬 How Many Elves Have Already Joined Solas?
Players of Dragon Age II will recognize Merrill's Keeper on the left while Inquisition fans will recognize Briala on the bottom right. These are just two of many possible recruits Solas could have taken into his ranks by the time 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age 4 rolls around.
Players won't know how far or deep the Dread Wolf's network goes. Former allies could now become spies and𓃲 enemies. Or...perhaps they could be double agent opportunities, as well.
The trick to these two🎃 specifically is that, depending on the player's choices, they can die in the game. Despite Solas' connection to spirits and the Fade, it seems unlikely for the developers to resurrect ꦅrandom people without plot relevance. Unless?
5 🌺 How Are Elves Treated in Rivain, Antiva, and Elsewhere?
We saw in Dragon Age II how elves were treated about the same in Kirkwall as they were in certain parts of Orlais and Fereldan. But fans of the series will remember Antivan Crow and elf 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Zevran Aranai from Dragon Age: Origins.
He held a coveted spot as one of the few to best the𒁏 Crows at their own games on top of being an accomplished and talented assassin as an elf. So Ativans may not treat elves with venom or enslave them like other countries in Thedas do.
Though the next game is ru♍mored to take place in Tevinter, some fans would like to see more information about cities and cultures in other countries l🌳ike Nevarra, Rivain, and beyond.
4 ♌ How Many Other Lyrium Ghosts Are There? 𒁏
Another fan favorite companion from Dragon Age II, Fenris is unique in that his body is covered with tattoos infused with lyrium. Though a product of being a slave to a Tevinter magister, these tattoos enable him to become a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Lyrium Ghost.
Fenris says that he won a lottery of sorts and was promised that his family would be taken car𒊎e of if he committed himself to this process. So it stands to reason that there are other man-made Lyrium Ghosts out there.
Let's save Leliana possibly for another time.
3 💞 Why Are All Of The Dalish Clans So Disparate?
Over the course of the Dragon Age games, players have met a few Dalish clans. Their player characters can also be from the Dalish, as well. But each and every clan operates differently with only a few similar🔜ities to bond them: being Elves, chasing history, having Keepers, and distrusting humans (with good reason).
Perhaps it is the Romani-esque nature of the Dalish that promotes continued disparity. But none of the clans seem to be in cahoots with each other in the games. Despite Solas' disgust fo🐎r what elves have become, he seeks to unite them, as well.
The Elves have tried to rebel in the past and one need only look at the Emerald Graves to infer how most Dalish and ജCity Elves feel about trying that again.
2 🎉 Are There Other Elven Mages Who P༺ractice Blood Magic?
Solas says in DA: I that practicing blood magic makes entering the Fade more difficult. This could explain why there is so little information on Elves potentially practicing blood magic throughou🦄t histor🀅y. It could also explain why Merrill's Keeper was so against her even dabbling in blood magic.
With the next game being set in the Tevinter Imperium, fans may learn more about Elves and their relat𓃲ionship with blood magic.
Bonus question: what is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:everyone's favorite blood mage Merrill up to these days anyway?
1 What Scared The Evanuris So Bad That They Sealed It Underground With Magi🍷c?
Legend has it that before the supposed murder of Mythal, the Evanuris got spooked by something enough to seal it underground in the Deep Roads. Never🌼mind the Dwarves, right?
The codex entry “Veilfire Runes in the Deep Roads” says "What the Evanuris in their greed could unleash would end us all. Let this place be forgotten𒈔. Let no one wake its anger. The People must rise before their false gods destroy them all."
In-game, the Inquisitor says ൩that elves mined Titan bodies for lyirum, but this seems different from the Titans. Solas also constantly talks about wars between the Evanuris, but this is an odd scenario where they band together against something else. This could reference a little referenced group known as -- a humanoid, but reptilian൲ race rumored to have warred with the Dwarves around 1195 Ancient.
But this seems like too small a threat for the Evanuris. It had to be wha✱t would become the Darkspawn, lead to the Blight, and whatever corrupted the Archdemons which may or may not be elves and/or dragons.
Simple!
