Whether players always romance a mage, always play as one, or always choose against mages, these staff-wielders play a huge role in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age series a🦄nd world. Of course, some are more benevolent than others and some (🔴looking at Solas) just want to see the world changed as they see fit.

There have been many notable mages throughout the series: Morrigan, Anders, Merrill, Vivienne, Grand Enchanter Fiona, Jowan, Connor...the list goes on and on. But with so much emphasis placed on the controlling of magic in the Dragon Age world, there are stilജl many questions fans have surrounding mages.

Given the events of the DLCs The Descent and Trespasser from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition, fans' understanding of magic𝄹 has changed dramatically. Dwarves may now have magic or be lyrium, Seekers have the means to reverse Tranquility, and 🧸there's even time travel magic.

What other things about mages do fans not know?

10 J﷽ust How Many Abominations Are There Running Around?

Cullen would tell anyone that any mℱage can become an abominatiওon even if they are strong of will. He would also say that abominations should be put down like a dog with rabies, but not all people agree with that.

For one, some Avvar mages commune with spirits as do mages in other cultures. Then, there's the abominations the player character welcomes into their own travelin💟g party. Th🌄at's right: Wynne and Anders are both technically abominations.

Anders harbors a spirit of Justice that his own feelings corrupted into Vengeance. Wynne seems to have been rescued by a spirit of Compassion, but lived a full life after the events of Dragon Age: Origins.

There's also Cole, but...he's a special case.

9 🧜 ⛦ What's The Deal With Rivaini Seers?

Fans of the series will remember Isabela from Dragon Age II and that she hails from the country Rivain. Duncan, from the original game in the series, was also Rivaini🅰. Not✤ much is known about the country and its peoples apart from a few things here and there.

For one, they are not Andrastian and do not follow the Chantry. Furthermore, their mages are often encouraged to become Seers who open conversation with the spirits and may even allow possession (similar to the Avvar mages as seen in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Jaws of Hakkon).

8 🍨 How Is One Born A Mage?

Over the course of the series, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age lore has developed the ways by which mages are born or created. This has to do with the types of magic that exist (natural magic, blood magic, blight magic,꧑ and lyrium).

While Grey Wardens draw their magic from The Blight, natural born mages use ꧂lyrium to enhance their connection to the Fade. Insight into the Tevinter Imperium tells us that bloodlines can carry the genetics of “magic” in that someone with two mages for parents i🐼s more likely to have magic themselves.

But beyond that, it’s a bit of a mystery.

7 ♉ Why Do The Qunari ♈Treat Their Mages So Brutally?

Qunari view mages with reverence to their pow🅠er🐼, but also a great fear. They imprison mages from youth, affix them to an arbiter who watches their every move, and even fit them with collars to keep them under control. They also sometimes cut out their tongues for some reason.

But t♎here isn’t much other information as to why the Qunari view mages more as wild animals than fellow Qunari.

The explanation may be that, under the Qun, magic just doesn’♔t really fit and mages inherently have the power to break apart Qun rules and the social hierarchy th🥃at everyone under the Qun accepts or is forced to live under.

6 ꧋ Will Seekers Try to Reverse Tranquility For Current Tranquils?

After taking out Lord Seeker Lucius, fans learned that Seekers were creat𓄧ed by undergoing the same rite as mages who are made Tranquil. However, with their connection to The Fade severed, Tranquil m▨ages can craft runes and such.

Since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cassandra sought to rebuild the Seekers, would she also seek to help Tranquil mages who may want to regain their Fade connection? Of course, Bioware has n𓆏ot truly given evidence that this is poss🧜ible. While Seekers can have it "reversed," the same may not be true for people born with magical abilities.

5 If Theoretical Magic Can Be Proven With Math, Is There Science In Magic? ♔

As players learned through the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition, many magesꦚ in Tevinter 🌱practice also study magic quite thoroughly. This includes a plethora of theoretical magics that are, as of yet, unrealized in the real world.

If fans sided with the mages in the game, they witnessed Alexius' time magic failure. But his son, Felix, and Dorian both comment on the equations, formulas, and calculations it took to make this ♔experiment happen.

Does this mean that there is science and math behind magic inℱ the same way there is science and math behind things like gravity in our world?

4 What Special ﷽Connections Do Dreamers 🔯Have And Why?

Feynriel, a somewhat tragic character, was one such Dreamer that players encountered in Dragon Age II. He had the ability to enter and manipulate The Fade while he slept. Solas is also a "Dreamer" before he reveals himself🍒 as the🐟 Dread Wolf and regales the player with his adventures in The Fade with spirits.

Humans a𓃲nd Elves can be Dreamers, but Dwarves don’t dream so they likely aren’t connected to the Fade. As for an explanation as to why some mages are “Dreamers” and others aren’t, there isn’t much of one. The same can be said for what gives Dreamers their connections in the first place.

These individuals merely have much s𝓡tronger connections to The Fade than other mages.

3 Is The Architect A Black City Magister Like Coryphe꧙us?

Veteran fans of the Dragon Age series will remember one of the DLCs for the original game entitled Awakening. In it, the player encounters a very odd and seemingly intelligent Dark Spawn character named The Architect. Though the player cou❀ld kill him, many fans chose to let him live.

Now that fans know Corypheus, who bears a striking resemblance to The Architect, was one of the Magisters who poisoned The Golden City, many have wondered if The Arc𝓀hitect was also one of those Magiste🌳rs.

The mystery remains and r𓆏ecent revealations from the franchise don't ha𒀰ve answers.

2 Will Shap๊er Valta Return With Dwarvౠen Magic?

Dreamers are humans who can communicate wit🧔h old gods and learn magic, but now refers to any person who finds themselves in the Fꦗade or can, at will, enter the Fade and explore it like Solas can.

Dwarves don’t dream, so they likely aren’t connected to the Fade. As for an explanation as to why some mages ar📖e “Dre𒊎amers” and why others aren’t; there isn’t much of one. The same can be said for what gives Dreamers their connections in the first place.

Fans do know that Tevinter mages created a machine to use blood to enhance Dreamer abilities, but thꦺat’s about it🧸 for now.

1 W🉐ill Dragon Age 4 Feature A Blood Mage Or Apostate Companion?

Up until now, every game has featured some kind of apostate mage from Morrigan to Merrill to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dread Wolf himself (or even the player character). As such, fans have the expectation that Dragon Age 4 w💛ill continue this﷽ trend and include a rogue mage.

Since the game is anticipated to take place in Tevinter, it then begs the question if said companion apostate mage will be a spooky, scary blood mage. The practice is not forbidden in Tevinter as in other parꦫts of Thedas an꧅d is, in fact, widely studied and practiced.

Perhaps even players can choose to play as a blood mage♏. Time will tell.
