Wynne is a much-underappreciated character from Dragon Age: Origins. This is because she is easily missed, as your choices can force you to kill her. Her not being 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:romanceable is also part of her being an und🍨erdog in terms of 🎃popular characters.

However, she is a major character in the world of Thedas. She was one of its most powerful mages. She was a well-written mentor as well. She did not cloak herself in mystery in order to seem more wise, like most one-dimensional mentor characters. She was full of surprises, and a lot of players missed that if they didn't recruit her or read Dragon Age: Asunder.

So here are ten facts about Wynne that not all fans know. Be a✱ware that major spoilers 🦩for the books and games are ahead.

10 She Has A Son 🅺

The main character of Dragon Age: Asunder is actually Wynne's son,  Rhys. If you are lucky enough in Origins, she actually mentions a son in a particular banter.🍸 However, it is not until the book that you get all the juicy details.

Like Wynne, Rhys is a talented mage. They d🌄o reunite in the book (as he was taken away from her as an inf✅ant). They do bicker a lot, which is understandable. By the end of the book though, they do reach a mostly peaceful understanding.

9 𒁃 🍒 Her Son's Father Is A Templar

The identity of Rhys' father is still a mystery. However, Wynne has admitted th🥃at the father is a Templar. When he came forward about being pregnant in the Circle, she refused to divulge the father's identity. This is because the Templar should have been in major trouble for consorting with a mage.

It has been hinted in The World of Thedas Volume 2 that the father could be Knight-Commander Grea🌱goir.

8 She Passed Away Between Dragon Age 2 And Inqu🍒isition

Near the end of Dragon Age: Asunder, Wynne gives up her life to save a Templar who Rhys is romantic𒁃ally involved with. The♏ Templar was Evangeline de Brassard, and she actually died.

7 She Traveled Around With Shale After Dragon Age: Origins 🐭

Shale is a character not every player got to meet, as she was DLC for Dragon Age: Origins. She is a dwarf soul in a Golem, and she travels with Wynne in Dragon Age: Asunder as Wynne tries to find a cure for Shal𝐆e's Golem body.

Due to this, Shale does a lot in the book༺ and helps Rhys and Evangeline during the rebellion.

6 She Is A Connoisseur Of🌊 Fine Beers And Ale

Stepping away from the books, Wynne's banters with Oghren reveal that she actually loves fine beers, ales, and wines. She tries his drink and speaks like a professional taste tester, mentioning all the ingredients she can taste. She says, "Attractive amber color. Nutty flavor, slightly sweet, just a hint of toastiness. There's some spice to it... I'm finding hard to place... Is it... cloves?" to which Oghren lo💝ses his mind in utter surprise and joy.

Apparently Tranquil can make fine ales, and Wynne explains thaꩲt to Oghrenꩵ.

5 ꦿ In Origins, Wynne Is The Only Companion Who Doesn't Teach Her Class Specialization

Every Dragon Age companion has their own specialization. Wynne's💧 specialization is Spirit Healer, which is quite useful if you do not want to die. A lot of companions ඣcan teach you their specialization if you have high approval with them and are also the same class. However, Wynne doesn't teach you. It is strange, especially since she was a literal teacher in the Circle Tower.

4 She Pla🐎ys A Small Role In Awakening

Many players skipped Awakening since it was in the realm of DLC, though it was sold as a separate game later. You get to see some old companions from the first game, and Wynne is one of them. Obviously, she will only appear if she survived Origins.

In Awakening, she is not a companion like 𒅌Oghren, but a quest giver. She is whoꦿ you talk to in order to start the quest, .

3 🔯 She Was ♛An Orphan

Wynne's childhood is a pretty big mystery to players. If they read her entry in The World of Thedas Volume 2 though, a little light is shed on her early years. She was discovered in a place called Langwynne in ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚFereldan, which is how she got her name. She lived with the far💞mers that discovered her in a hayloft for a couple months.

Like many mages though, her powers made the family call Templars to take her to the Circle. She powers manifested when she ret🐈aliated against the sons' bullying her. She set them on fire!

2 ♛ She Took Her Harrowing Early 🙈

Wynne was only seventeen-years-old when she took her Harrowing, which is a couple years early. According to The World of Thedas Volume 2, she was an ideal student of magic. Her methꦕods with magic all seemed natural, and she quickly progressed through the ranks until she became a mentor for other mages.

This led to Wynne being a strict teacher at fiꦕrst with her students as she held them to a high standard. She changed her tune though after her first student escaped the Circle.

1 😼 Wynne Was Buried Near A Tree At Andoral's Reach
