goes to great lengths to capture everything that makes the manga and ani𝕴me it's based on so special. Of course, one of those elements is the titular Dragon Balls themselves.

A༒s fans know, collecting all seven Dragon Balls lets the user 🧸summon Shenron and have any of their wishes granted. Just like with the older Budokai Tenkaichi games, Sparking Zero takes this and turns it into a mechanic, letting you collect Dragon Balls to summon Shenron.

How To Find Dragon Balls

The Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

The first and most important part of summoning Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron is to gather the seven Dragon Balls designated to them. Let's start with Shenron, who is the easiest to collect for and will likely appear the most for you. His Dragon Balls are awarded as part of Zen-Oh's Orders and Whis' Stamp Book.

Completing those challenges will often award you with Shenron's Dragon Balls. You also have a small chance of being awarded them for completing versus battles in the battle section of the main menu. I couldn't f🌺ind a definitive way to make this happen, as it appears to be entirely luck-based. If you're playing online or just doing versus matches, though, they appear to drop from there, albeit rarely.

Porunga's Dragon Balls are a bit more of a tricky affair, however. They don't appear to be offered as rewards from Zen-Oh or Whis, and instead seem to be completely random drops from regular matches at a much lower rate than Shenron's. It doesn't 🍌appear to be tied to a specific map, so you'll just need to repeat versus matches over and over again.

Finally, there's Super Shenron, who is the hardest to collect Dragon Balls for. If you've got the Ultimate Edition of the game you'll have instance access to one wish from him, but you're also awarded a full set for completing Goku's Episode Battle. Future Trunks' Sparking Episodes also grant a full set upon completion and there are two pathways, so that's a guaranteed three sets there.

It's currentlওy unknown if there are any other ways to get Super Shenron's Dragon Balls, but they might also ju൩st drop very rarely.

Each Dragon's Wishes Explained

Shenron's wishes in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

Although you might think that each Dragon would have some really unique wishes, that isn't really the case. They all have the same set of wishes (apart from one) that just unlock some slightly different things e🉐ach time depending on which Dragon you get. The wishes are as follows, and depend on some certain parameters. Here's every wish explained and whether you should go for it.

Porunga's Dragon Balls are a lot rarer, but he grants three wishes instead of Sh🍸enron and Super Shenron's one each.

I want more Zeni - choosing this gives the player some free money that can be spent in the shop on items, characters, outfits and more. It's an easy wish to make, but considering how easy it is to earn Zeni in the first place, it's a bit of a waste. The amount of Zeni you get goesꦓ up depending on which dragon you wish from.

I want more titles - selecting this wish giveไs the player a choice between a few unique titles that seem to only be earnable from Shenron. Again, not the most useful wish to make, but some of them are pretty fun choices.

I want you to raise my Player Level - using this wish will cause Shenron to raise your player level. This doesn't really impact much in the grand scheme of things🐓, but it does cause more items to appear in the shop. The maximum Player Level is 20, which is achievable if you do all of the story mode and෴ bonus battles.

I want new outfits - selecting th🍌is will cause Shenron to offer you a few outfits for select characters. I had the choice between Roshi, Yamcha, Goku, and Krillin when I wished for this, and it seems that they don't get replaced when you select them.

I want new ability items - one of the most confusing wishes in Sparking Zero is for ability items, which are just capsules that can be used to customise characters. The a💟bility items here, such as Broly's Ring, do seem to be specific to Shenron, so they might be worth picking up. The only problem comes from the Dragon not explaining what the items actually do until you've wished for them.

I want to complete an Episode Battle - the most interesting of all the wishes, this grants you a Dragon Orb that can be used to lower the difficulty of a secondary condition in an Episode Battle match. This makes it easier to see the what-if scenarios, which means it's one of the most helpful wishes in the game, even if it's a specific one. This only seems to be an option w♌hen you've got a scenario left to clear and have ♏previously failed the secondary objective.

I want more characters - this wish appears to be specific to Super Shenron and is only used for two of the game's characters - Goku Black and Fused Zamasu. Once you've done t🔜his, no other characters can be wished for. It's not clear if both can be earned outside of Super Shenron either, but it's a good way to get access to both.
