Vanishing Assault
One of the most common ways to teleport behind your enemies is to use the Vanishing Assault mechanic. Vanishing Assault requires Ki to use and has different applications based on your distance from the opponent. You can press X/Square + A/Triangle or V on a keyboard to use Vanishing Assault whenever you have at least one bar of Ki or are in Sparking Mode.
If you're at close range, you will be teleported behind your opponent and launch a kick at their back, which will knock them away for a follow-up.
If you're at medium or long range away from the targetꦑ, you will not teleport beh☂ind their back.
Perfect Smash Attack
Holding the Rush Attack button or X/Square/left-click on a mouse will allow your character to glow and launch a Smash Attack. If you let go of the Rush Attack button just as your character starts to glow, you w🍌ill be able to land a perfect Smash Attack.
A perfect Smash Attack will allow your character to teleport behind your opponent and knock them away for a follow-up. Using a perfect Smash Attack doesn't consume Ki, but getting the timing ri🏅ght can be fairly difficult.
Teleporting Behind Your Enemy During A Combo
If you manage to knock your opponent away with an attack or during a combo, you can press the Ki blast button to instantly teleport behind your opponent to deliver an attack. This can be useful if you have multiple bars of Ki available and want to use a Special Move, such as Kamehဣameha or Galick Gun, as the combo ender.
In the middle of a rush combo, you can tilt thꦗe left stick in any direction + the guard button or press any movement button + E on the keyboard to teleport around your opponent at the cost of a small amℱount of Ki to continue the combo.
You can also switch characters after knocking your opponent away by holding left on the D-Pad or by pressing X on the keyboard to open the switch menu. If you switch characters in the middle of a combo, or after knocking them away, the incoming character will teleport next to the target, allowing you to continue to combo.
High-Speed Evasion
If you're at close range of your target when they use a special move, you can press the block button, which is RB/R1/E, just as the attack is about to connect. Doing so will allow you to avoid the attack and teleport behind your opponent.
You can also press the block button just as a melee attack is about to hit you to teleport behind your enemy and start your offense, as your target will be unable to block if they are still recovering.
High-Speed Counterattack
If your opponent uses a Vanishing Attack or teleports behind you by avoiding your attack to retaliate, you can press the block button just as the attack is about to connect to avoid it. Doing so will allow you to teleport behind your opponent and launch a counterattack of your own at the cost of some of your Ki.
The opponent can do the same to avoid your attack, so you have to be prepared for it. In case the opponent avoids your counterattack by teleporting behind you, you can p🔯ress the block butto♈n again just as the attack is about to connect to teleport behind them again.
