A new trailer for the final piece of DLC for , which foꩲcuses on the End of Z Saga, seems to be teasing a long-awaited rematch between Goku and Vegeta.
Dragon Ball Z fans might have Sparking: 🐽Zero taking up most of their thoughts right now, but that's not the next exciting p⛄iece of Dragon Ball content that we're going t🌼o be getting. That honour goes to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's final piece of DLC (for the second season pass, at least) - Goku's Next Journey.

DBZ: Kakarot's Tenkaichi Budokai DLC Proves We Need An OG Dragon Ball Game
Kakarot's la🦂test DLC finally gives Dragon Ball the respect it deserves.
Just last month we got a trailer that confirmed that the DLC will be taking place in the End of൲ Z Saga and releasing at some point in February. Now that we're near the end of the month, that𒁃 not only confirms that the DLC is going to be released on February 21, but also teases something fans have been wantin🦄g to see for a long time.
Just before the trailer ends, Goku can be seen flying to the Wastelands where he first fought Vegeta, who is seen standing on t🐠op of a rock in his Cell Saga Saiyan armour. As Goku lands, Vegeta says that he's late and the trailer cuts out before we can see the rest of the scene in action. Even without seeing what happens next, it's very clearly teasing a rematch between Goku and Vegeta at their absolute strongest.
While Goku and Vegeta have fought👍 a ton of times since Dragon Ball Z ended thanks to Super, in the Z canon they've never had a rematch since teaming up to take on Majin Buu. As such, this is a pretty big moment for th🌠em and should make for an interesting expansion of Dragon Ball Z's canon. Kakarot has done that numerous times with its DLC and base game, so it'd make sense to do something new here as well.
The DLC trailer also sugges🍨ts that more DLC for Kakarot could be coming, 🌳as it specifically notes that it's the final DLC of "Season Pass 2".
Outside of Goku and Vegeta potential🌸ly battling again, the trailer also reveals that Pan will actually be a playable fighter during her match against Wild Tiger. , which is especially interesting since he's never actually appeared properly in a Dragon Ball Z game before.
