's End of Z DLC shows us Goku insulting Uub for the first time in decades, only it's now been turned into a bit of a quick-time event.

With the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero on t💫he distant horizon, it's never been a better time to be a fan of gaming and Dragon Ball. Although the next Budokai Tenkaichi is something we've all been asking about for more than a decade now, it's not the only exciting thing happening for DBZ, as the final piece of DLC for Kakarot's second season pass, Goku's Next Journey, has also just released.

We mi🎀ght have only seen a minute of Sparking Zero, but it 💎was enough to prove that it’s going to do Budokai Tenkaichi justice.

The DLꦛC, which takes place ten years after the ending of the Buu Saga, focuses on an older Goku as he finally gets his wish and gets to fight the reincarnated version of Majin Buu, Uub, during the Tenkaichi Budokai. In the anime and certain gaming adaptations, , going as far as ♔uncharacteristically saying, "Your mother is so fat, cows moo at her".

It's been so long since we've seen Goku's roast of Uub adapted that some fans were worried that it'd be toned down or removed for Goku's Next Journey in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. That isn't the case, however, as it's been brought back in full force for the DLC without a single change to the dialogue. Better yet, it's even been gamified a little bit.

When you first face Uub in the Tenkaichi Budokai, you'll need to make him angry in order to unlock his true fighting abilities. Doing this mostly just means beating the snot out of him as Goku, but as you do so you'll notice that Goku is using the same insults that he did in the anime, from calling Uub's mother fat to saying that he and his whole family are ugly.

We haven't seen Dragon Ball Z's End of Z saga adapted properly in a game since Budokai 3.

There's a kicker to the barrage of insults, though. , after Uub's health gets low enough, the player is given a quick-time event chance called "The Final Word. If pressed in time, it causes a surprisingly dramatic cinematic where Goku kicks him in the face while screaming that his dad is a "bed-wetter".

It's a great way of mixing the scene up, and a sign that CyberConnect2 was aware of how memed the moment has become among fans in the years since Dragon Ball Z ended. At least Uub gets the last laugh by being a genuinely tough boss battle.
