Summary
- Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero's customisation has a lot of potential, but it doesn't really live up to it.
- This is true of both the costumes and accessories, of which there are currently only a select few.
- If you don't want a halo or Scouter, you're basically out of luck.
players aren't happy with the game's extremely l𝄹imited selection of accessories at launch, with Scoute💮rs and halos basically being all that's on offer.
Leading up to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero's launch, Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft with inclusions like Gohan's damaged Saiyaman 🧜outfit and Goku's Yardrat fit. While those two are great and there are some good costumes in there, 🌱the overall customisation leaves a lot to be desired.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s Story Mode ⛎Almost Made Me Go Super Saꦯiyan
Even if you’ve played the original Budokai Tenkaichi games, you aren’t prepared for how to𝐆ugh Sparking Zero’s story mode is.
We've already talked about Sparking Zero players being let down b♔y the customisationꦉ options when it comes to missing outfits and iconic fits, but it goes a little further than that, as the game also offers the option to add accessories. That sounds good on paper, but in practi🍌ce, it's much more limited than we were expecting.
Sparking Zero Players Aren't Happy With The Game's Range Of Accessories
When you first go into Sparking Zero's customisation options for each character, you'll be greeted with a surprising amount of room for both costumes and accessories. ♑While the eight empty slots are encouraging, there isn't anywhere near enough accessories in the game to justify so much empty space.
As of the time of 🦩writing, you can really only give certain characters a halo or a Scouter, which is also only an option depending on if they can canonically🍌 have it. Since launch, players have been confused about whether they're just missing the unlockable accessories, but the truth is that there really aren't that many in the game right now.
Over on Twitter, and pointed out that Sparking Zero needs to♔ do the same, which prompted a lot of complaints about how the game currently handles t♑he system. For example, saying, "I s**t you not, this is literally all we got".
Sparking Zero's producer, Jun Furutani🎃, , something that didn't end u🐽p happening.
This is far from the only complaint about the game's lack of accessories, as the game's subreddit is full of comments and questions from🔯 fans about why there are so few. since most characters on the roster don't even h🎐ave outfits or accessories.
While it's true that Sparking Zero's current selection is disappointing, it seems like something that's going to be remedied over time with updates and DLC. Spike Chunsoft and Bandai haven't promised anything yet, but it makes sense that, like Xenoverse, ♏Sparking Zero will have more content ad🌳ded to it over time. Still, it's a bit disappoin🥀ting to see when so much could have been done𒐪.
