Sparking Zero's gameplay deep-dive showcased a lot of🔥 respect for both Budokai Tenkaichi and, more surprisin🅺gly, Raging Blast.

Although a release year hasn't yet been confirmed by Bandai Namco, a leak that popped up yesterday suggested that we'd be getting our hands on the next Budokai Tenkaichi at the start of October. We'll have to wait to see whether that gets confirmed in the next few months, but it seems that Sparking Zero's floodgates are finally opening, something that's just been solidified by Goku's voice actor.

Goku's Voice Actor Has Finally Talked About Sparking: Zero

, Goku's long-term English voice actor, Sean Schemmel, recently took part in a livestream where he answered questions from fans. As you'd expect, one of those questions was about Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, which Schemmel said he couldn't talk too much about due to legal reasons.

Schemmel might not be able to say too much about Sparking Zero, but he did reveal something interesting about the work that he's put into it so far, as he claims to have done around 60 to 80 hours of voice work into the game already. Beyond that, he says that fans are going to love it and that he'll be streaming the game whenever it comes out.

"What I can say legally about Sparking Zero is that you're gonna love. I put 60 or 70 or 80 hours into it as a voice actor, maybe longer. It's going to be amazing, I can't tell you about it at all, I just think you're going to love it and I'm going to stream it on this channel when it comes out."

It's not too surprising to hear how much time Schemmel has put into Sparking Zero considering he voices the series' main character, but it does already have some Dragon Balls theory-crafting. Some think that he's put so many hours in , while others think that it's a soft confirmation that Bardock is going to be in the game.

We won't know any of that for sure until Bandai Namco reveals more information about Sparking Zero's story mode, but it does seem like a lot of time and effort has gone into the game already. Let's hope that Summer Game Fest confirms that date so we can all look forward to seeing the final product.
