Weꦇ might have only seen a minute of Sparking Zero, but it was enough to prove that it’s going to do Budokai Tenkaichi justice.

Of course, this was a different time for gaming and things have changed a hell of a lot in the decade and a half since Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but fans have still hoped that such an important part of the series would be returning for Sparking Zero. , however, as there's only been mention of single-player modes and online play so far.

Recently, , Twitter users SofianLeGEEK, Yekais, had the chance to speak to Sparking Zero's producer, Jun Furutani, and series producer, Ryo Mito, and get a ton of new information about the game.

Although most of that has been fairly good news, like the confirmation of Sparking Zero's release window and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:GT characters, there is a bit of bad news in there. , Furutani and Mito claim that local split-screen modes won't be available due to "issues related to Sony and Microsoft" that make split-screen hard to include.

Although the news about split-screen mode is a shame and sure to be something that upsets long-term Budokai Tenkaichi fans, there was some more positive news shared by the interview, as Sparking Zero is said to have a full story mode that's "evolved" from BT3.

It's claimed that Furutani and Mito are trying to find a solution to the problem and get split-screen modes in Sparking Zero, but it sounds like it's not going to be an easy task and is unlikely to be in the game at launch, if at all. We won't know until the game eventually launches or it's confirmed by Bandai Namco, but it might be best to stop hoping for it.
