That's right, , Dragon Ball is soon going to be trying its hand at a multiplayer online battle arena with Dragon Ball: Project Multi, , and will be having its first regional test between August 20 and September 3.

Dragon Ball Is Getting Its Own MOBA

The announcement trailer for Dragon Ball: Project Multi was brief, but showed off gameplay that looks very similar to other MOBAs like Pokemon Unite anꦅd League of Legends. The main objective of the Project: Multi is similar to other MOBAs, as teams of four compete across a map to control poi✅nts and collect Dragon Balls.

As is the case with most Dragon Ball game announcements, the title "Project: Multi" isn't final and will be changed before the full official release. There are no clues as to when that is, though.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Dragon Ball game without powerups, as we see Goku turn into a Super Saiyan at one point, similarly to how Pokemon evolve in Unite. So far, the roster seems to mostly be passed on Dragon Ball Super, as all the characters shown are using their designs from that show, and we even get a few surprise picks like Zamasu and Android 18 in her pink Tournament of Power tracksuit.

Not much else about the game was revealed in the trailer, , it's not long until fans get to try it out for themselves and see what the next new Dragon Ball game is all about. The regions announced so far include Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the UK, the US, and Taiwan, so it seems like a lot of players will get their hands on the game.
