has just filed a trademark for "Sparking! Zero" ('s Japanese name), implying that we'll finally be getting news on the game in the near future.
Despite kicking off with a Big Bang Attack, 2023 has felt like one of the slowest years ever for Dragon Ball Z fans. Back at the start of March, Budokai Tenkaichi 4 was fina🥂lly announcꦬed after 13 years since the last game in the series and, ever since then, we've all been patiently waiting for any kind of update on the game, sadly to no avail.

Budokai Tenkaichi 4 Is The Dragon Ball Game We've Been Waiting For
The 16-year wait is nearly over.
It looks like that might be changing soon, however. , Bandai Namco recently filed a US trademark for Sparking! Zero, which is, of course, Budokai Tenkaichi 4's name in Japan. The trademark was actually filed a few weeks ago on September 26, .
This trademark being filed is the closest thing we've had to an official bit of news on the game since it was first announced and seems to imply that more is coming in the near future. It's strange to see Bandai Namco filing a trademark for the Japanese name in the US, but it does at least confirm the rumour that went around a few months ago that the game's title would be "Sparking! Zero" in Japan.
It's also interesting considering how strangely Bandai Namco has been acting with Budokai Tenkaichi 4. After the game was announced at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023, Bandai didn't upload the trailer or mention the new game on its site and still hasn't really acknowledged it, something that seems set to change now that it's filing trademarks.
The timing of the trademark is also interesting considering the upcoming Dragon Ball panel that's happening at New York Comic-Con on October 12. That panel is reportedly going to be a big deal for the series, as it's rumoured that the next Dragon Ball anime series is going to be revealed there, among other things. It's possible that we get our next look at Budokai Tenkaichi 4 there.
Interestingly, this also seems to support a recent rumour that claimed that Budokai Tenkaichi 4 was closer to release than some fans were assuming, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and was actually aiming for 2024. This trademark being filed, combined with Sonny Strait recently hinting tha🎀t voice work on the game had begun, seem to imply that the nearly year-long silence on the game wasn't a bad sign after all and that it was simply being quietly worked on.
