Sparking Zero's gam❀eplay deep-dive showcased a lot of respect for both Budokai Tenkaichi and, more surprisingly, Raging Blast.

We've known for some time that a new saga was going to be added to the game alongside the current-gen update, . The "Future Saga" will be a four-part storyline that begins in Spring 2024, and features Fu discovering a new power called Ultra Supervillain.

The trailer for the Future Saga shows two keyღ characters getting the Ultra Supervillain treatment - Vegeta and Goku Black. Goku Black is the first fighter to get the transformation, and is shown in his Super Saiyan God Rose form with a strange purple tint and much more power than he had before.

Fans previously guessed that the new character would be Super Saiyan 3 Rose Goku Black, so they were at least right about who the character was going to be.

As cool as it is to see Goku Black getting more of the spotlight, the far more interesting version of the transformation goes to Vegeta, who is shown with a variant of his Super Saiyan God form that looks awfully similar to Ultra Ego. We see Vegeta using this Ultra Supervillain power to battle against Super Saiyan God Goku, which draws so𓂃me parallels to their battle in the Buu saga.

The new forms of Goku Black and Vegeta are the only ones that have been confirmed for the DLC right now, but the trailer seems to tease another character getting the strange power-up. that at least one more fighter is going to be added in the new saga, although it's anyone's guess who that could end up being. Please let it be Krillin for a laugh, though.
