168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Quest is one of the longest-running series in video game history (and one of the most influential). There has never not been a good time to be a fan of Dragon Quest, as there has been an endless supply of mainline entries and quality spin-offs to keep fans engaged and interested. Dragon Quest 11 has been a huge success, so it only ma♍kes sense that Square Enix would capitalise on this with a tie-in entry.

Enter, Dragon Quest Treasures. Treasures follows the footsteps of a young Erik and his sister Mia as they try to pocket as much loot as humanly possible. This is a stark departure from Dragon Quest 11's "traditional" Hero plot, but what can you expect from a game based on the slippery antics of Erik the master thief? The question is, however, how does this tie into the already brilliant plot (and subplot) of Dragon Quest 11? Let's speculate.

Some spoilers ahead for Dragon Quest 11. You have been warned.

7 Midas' Touch

Mia's golden form in Dragon Quest XI

Since Treasures stars the returning Erik and Mia, it's clear that the game will take place before Mia gets turned into a gold statue. Does this mean that we will see the fatไeful event happen in Treasures? How about the lead-up? The reason the cursed item existed in their possession to begin with? Questions abound, but the answer will probably be "yes" to most of them.

That being said, it's not a surefire thing. Both Mia and Erik are far younger in Treasures than they were in Dragon Quest 11's flashbacks. Maybe we will just get some cheeky nods and winks to that fateful event. Perhaps the game will take place over several points in Erik and Mia's life. Whatever happens, it's going to be darn interesting figuring it all out.

6 A Thief's Tale

Erik with a knife in Dragon Quest Treasures

A game based on Treasure hunting (or thieving...) is a natural place to explore Erik's early days as a, well, thief. Erik was quite the suave pocket picker in Dragon Quest 11, so it's very likely we will see how that came to be.

Not only that, Erik and Mia are both shown to have a k🦂een eye for daggers. What these strange-shaped daggers mea💜n, like with most things, is yet to be seen.

5 Inconsistently Consistent Garb

This one is likely a stylistic choice to tie the games together visually as opposed to an early-days phase, but Erik is rocking his classic hooded tunic in Treasures. This is quintessential Erik and he looks adorable in it. It does clash with Dragon Quest 11's flashbacks somewhat, as in those he was sporting gear reminiscent of Mia. Maybe he just has two outfits in his wardrobe.

Following suit, Mia is also rocking her classic🍌 garb - including her very stylish orange scarf. We would love to see a young Erik pottering aro🅰und in matching clothes, but perhaps that will be saved for some sort of costume/skin.

4 𓄧 Thieves In Time ℱ

Dragon Quest loves to throw twists and turns into the mix. In fact, the series has been dishing out its fair share of shenanigans since Dragon Quest 1, which is quite the legacy of tomfoolery. Not all games♉ mess with time and space quite like Dragon Quest 11, however. We will leave our nods and winks there, but it looks like Treasures could be dealing with similar concepts. This is seen in th𒐪e trailer with the duo being dragged apart by magical orbs.

Not only that, the logo could indicate some sort of time travel angle. A compass with clock hands is a little on the nose, but then again, it could just be a stylish compass. The latter explanation also fits the treasure hunting aspect of the game's core, so this may just be a coincidence.

3 ꦐ Monster Madness 🌱

Monster taming has been a popular side-bit in Dragon Quest for a long time - even receiving its own spin-offs from time to time. Whilst the mechanic doesn't appear in every new entry, Treasures seems to have some element of monster communication as seen by the existence of friendly Slimes and Drackies with the party.

Are these monsters unique and permanent companions, or are there more monsters to befriend? If so, what do they do? They seem to help with treasure detection - a skill Erik eventually learns himself. Is 💙there more to it? Possibly, since Treasure was originally going to be part of the Dragon Quest Monsters series.

2 Swanky Skeleton Pirates 🃏 💙

The Dragon Quest Treasures Skeleton Pirate

Pirates are common in Dragon Quest due to the series' love of boats. How else does one hinder a band of heroes who have nautical capabilities? The existence of pirates in Treasures, however, could be a sneaky hint at things to come, and players to be revealed.

There are not many pirate factions in Dragon Quest🃏 11, with the main one being controlled by Mordegon - the big bad of the game. Not a lot of time (in the grand scheme) between Treasures and Dragon Quest 11, so we have a niggle feeling that Mordegon could make an appearance at some point. This is further hinted at by the human crew under the command of a monster. This typically only happens with the presence of a darker power, as seen again, by the existence of Mordegon in Dragon Quest 11.

Erik and Mia are clearly the main characters of the game, and it's very unlikely any of the other main characters who appeared in Dragon Quest 11 will crop up in Treasures. That doesn't mean there aren't hints to be found in the trailer.

Colour is a defining feature of any character, which makes it especially odd that art for Treasures whos a reddish pi🍸nk cat, and a green pig floating around Erik an꧙d Mia. This might be a bit of a stretch, but those colours were shared by Serena and Veronica. Perhaps they could be used as a means to use magic in-game?
