Square Enix's beloved classic turn-based JRPG 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Quest has had a handful of spinoff titles throughout its over three-decade-long h﷽istory, with many featuring characters previously introduced in the mainline games as the protagonists, or just focusing on Slimes. As there have been so many characters♕ over the course of the series, some have gotten priority over others when it comes to starring in spinoff titles.
There are many familiar characters, both humans and monsters, worthy of starring in their own Dragon Quest spinoff games that could cover a variety of different genres, but for whatever reason, they haven't had their chance to yet.
10 Rab
An old mentor and party member from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Quest 11, Rab could easily replace the merchant Torneko in the primarily Japan-exclusive Torneko's Mystery Dungeon series due to their similar appearance. Even though Rab isn't a merchant, he probably could be thanks to his life experience.
When Rab was younger, he also trained 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in martial arts under Master Pang in Angri-La. Still, he left before completing his training, so a prequel exploring his tr൲aining there and why he left early could also be interesting. The game could even include when he met Jade again and trained her in martial arts before meeting The Luminary.
9 Sylvando
One of the most popular party membersﷺ in Dragon Quest 11 due to his backsto꧂ry, Sylvando is a flamboyant individual whose goal is to make everyone around the world happy by making them smile. During the brief time skip in Dragon Quest 11, Sylvando even gathers a relatively large following that becomes his own Parade of Smiles, spreading joy throughout the ruined land of Erdrea.
Since Sylvando is a performer, he could star in a new series of Dragon Quest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rhythm games similar to the Japan-exclusive Dragon Quest Theatrhythm or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory. It would be fun to see scenes for the game reena🦩cted and synced up with different types of p⭕erformances that Sylvando and his troupe could perform.
8 Pa꧃rry And Madchen
The twin children of the Dragon Quest 5 hero and whomever he chooses to marry, Parry and Madchen, join the hero's party after reviving the protagonist, with Parry being the legendary hero meant to defeat the great evil that has conquered the world.
These twins are still kids by the game's end, despite the time skip, so they're never seen as adults, or even seen going on their own adventures without their parents. Several of the Dragon Quest Treasures and Dragon Quest Monsters games feature younger versions of characters from the main series, so it would make perfect sense for the twins to star in a Dragon Quest Monsters game as adults - especially since their father was the first character to recruit monsters to his party, after all.
7 Bianca
Bianca, the canon love interest of Dragon Quest 5, first meets Abel when they're both children and meet once again when they're a bit older. Between her encounters with the hero, she primarily cared for her sick father, as they had to sell the inn they once owned.
Because she had to become the family provider after her mother passed, and her father fell ill, it's unclear where she learned how to use magic or if she learned it when adventuring with the hero. A Bianca spinoff could also include an inn running mini-game, showing us what it's like to run a safe haven for adventurers in the Dragon Quest world.
6 Nera And Debora Briscoletti 𒉰
Nera Briscoletti and Debora Briscoletti are the daughters of Mr. Briscoletti in Dragon Quest 5. They are also non-cannon love interests that Abel can choose to marry. These two could have their own adventure that takes place during or after Dragon Questﷺ 5 or in some alternate timeline where they have to save their father from something.
Because they can become party members just like Bianca, it's already known that they can hold their own in battle and have their own strengths and abilities. A spinoff starring both of them could flesh out their personalities and expand on their relationship as siblings.
5 Angelo
Angelo is a party member in Dragon Quest 8 who looks notably similar to Dante from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry series. A spinoff starring this gambling priest could be a stylish action game focusing on his training as a Templar Knight alongside his brother Marcello. These events are discussed in the game, but by the time Angelo is encountered, he's already an adult.
As Angelo can wield swords, bows, staves, and cast spells, there would also be plenty of variety to his move set in a stylish action game spinoff. His move set from Dragon Quest 8 could even be expanded since he'd be learning to use all the weapons he eventually has at his disposal.
4 ꦜ 🥀 Green Dragon
Despite being called Dragon Quest, there's never been a game with a dragon as the protagonist. The Green Dragon, a boss from the first Dragon Quest specifically, could have a spinoff that constantly breaks the fourth wall and pokes fun at the many tropes in the series.
For those who don't know, Dragon Quest has two endings: one where Erdrick defeats the dragon and saves the princess, and one where he goes directly to fighting the Dragonlord and decides not to fight the dragon or save the princess. A potential game starring the Green Dragon could take place after the events of the first game when the hero never arrived to defeat him.
3 Dracky
Dracky is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:weak batlike monster that has been around since the f🐽irst Dragon Quest as one of the earliest monsters encountered alongside Slimes. A game starring Dracky as the protagonist could be about how it has been relatively ignored compared to its gooey blue contemporary.
This could send Dracky on an adventure to either be the new mascot of the series, or a secondary mascot, so that it finally gets the attention it deserves after over three decades. The other types of Drackys🧔 could also be featured in the game, highlighting the differences between each and making them more than just palette-swapped monsters.
2 ꧃ Watabou & Warubou
Watabou, also known as Fluffy, is the mascot of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:monster-taming Dragon Quest spinoff, Dragon Quest Monsters, and has a mischievous twin named Warubou. These two have never appeared outside the Dragon Quest Mꦐonsters series other than a Watabou cameo in Itadaki Street Special, so another spinoff featuring both of them is long overdue.
It may seem odd to have a spinoff of a spinoff, but since Dragon Quest Treasures is technically a spinoff of Dragon Quest Monsters, it isn't unheard of. The fluffy twins could star in a puzzle game called Dragon Quest Monsters Stack, where players stack up the various monsters from the series, similar to a Puyo Puyo game.
1 Baran
An antagonist and forꦑmer hero in the Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai Manga and anime series, Baran was not always the cold and ruthless villain he is primarily known as during the series. Instead, he grew to hate humanity after a seꦯries of tragic events. Before his dark turn, Baran was a more heroic Dragon Knight meant to defeat Hadlar, but the human hero Avan accomplished this feat instead.
Despite this setback, Baran was still strong enough to defeat the powerful Dark Dragon Velther by himself, but his early life and training as a Dragon Knight have never been shown. His backstory has focused on why he developed a hatred of humanity rather t☂han his youth, so there is a lot of room to explore who he was before he turned to evil.
