These are the best weapons in Dragon's Dogma 2.

As long as you're not afraid of takin🐎g on stronger monsters than goblins, raiders, or wolves, you'll likely have no issue earning experience from the beasts you conqueඣr. While you will naturally level as you progress through the game's many fights and quests, there are things you can look out for to help level your character specifically. Since the levels are based on experience points, you'll need to do activities that grant large amounts of XP.

Defeat Plenty of Monsters

As with any RPG worth its salt, you can grind out some levels by challenging lots of monsters that can be found all across the land. Usually, if you wander off the beaten path, you can find a group of enemies or a large monster that needs to be dealt with.

Larger quantities and stronger monsters will come out at night, which will help you earn more experience in exchange for increased danger.

While groups of enemies might be easier to take on, larger enemies can provide thousands of points of experience, which is immediate💧ly funneled into both your main character and ꦍthe Pawn.

Some of the common large enemies to look out for include:

  • Cyclops
  • Minotaurs
  • Griffins
  • Chimeras
  • Trolls

Once you've defeated all the monsters in an area, you can try resting at a campfire to replace them. Repeating this process can be a great way to get some easy levels early in the game.

Take And Complete Quests

You'll naturally find new quests as you progress through your adventures in Dragon's Dogma 2, be they the monumental main quests or helping civilian NPCs with their problems in side quests. Regardless, quests provide you with plenty of experience, gold, and sometimes an additional reward.

Your Pawn won't gain experience in the Rift while adventuring and taking quests, but you can get additional items and RC.

It's hard to know which NPCs will give you a quest before they stop you in your tracks, but wandering around populated cities like Vernworth is a great way to find some spare side quests. Once completed, both you and your Pawn will receive experience for the adventure.

Completing main quests will likely give the most experience, but there are plenty of extra opportunities to earn the experience as well.
