My 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:recent misadventures in Battahl have made it clear that my 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon’s Dogma 2 party is la🤪cking. I’m a big strong catboy, still maining the Fighter class until I unlock something cool like Mystic Spearhand, but my Pawns are practically useless.
Okay, I take that back. Sorry, Pawns. Well, sorry Leloina specifically. My main Pawn is quite good at her job. She’s an archer with multiple skills and buffs that make her quite a formidable ally. While she has a tende𓄧ncy to shoot at far-off enemies to draw us into blockbuster battles when I’m busy trying to carefully kite one or two at a time, I can hardly blame her for a little bit of bloodlust. She’s just a strong, confident woman.
Leloina, whose name I now realise sounds suspiciously like Leliana, comes🎐 in handy in a fight, especially when her drawing arm starts motoring, but she falls fairly often. That’s okay, we needಌ protection, especially when her light armour can only block so many attacks. Enter Agnes.
It’s pronounced Leh-loh-ee-nah.
Agnes is the firs✱t Pawn I recruited from the rift. She’s a support character with great healing capabilities and who has helped me through many a battle. She’s an elder lady with a majestic staff and I r🧸espect her enormously. I can never be bothered playing a support class in single-player RPGs, but I’m glad Agnes is here to fulfil the role. She’s saved my bacon more times than I can count, and I’d have been stomped into the ground by many a Cyclops or Minotaur without the ability to retreat into her healing bubble and reset between rounds. I imagine she’s holding up the round number and ringing the little bell as I chow down on some Roberant and stalk towards whatever beast is preparing to smush me into Arisen-flavoured jelly this time around.
Agnes has also sav꧑ed me lots of money that would have otherwise been spent on replenishing my potions and poultices.
Finally, we come to Tiger. Tiger is a Beastren, obviously, who doesn’t look anything like a tiger. Grey fur and two daggers in hand, me and Tiger deal most of the damage in fi💧ghts. Except r𒀰ecently he’s been getting killed a lot. A lot a lot.
Rogues are glass cannons, I get that. But Tiger will happily jump into a pack of five wolves with reckless abandon – practically a death sentence. It’s not just his AI that’s mucking up, though, he’s not hitting as hard or dodging as well as he used to. It’s not 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragonsplague (that would make him more deadly, if anything) and I don’t think h🧸e’s getting old yet (we’ve only been travelling together for a few in-game weeks). He’s just reached hi🃏s limit.
I’ve travelled with the same three Pawns since the very start of the game. I gave some thoug꧅ht to which two I would recruit, but since then I’ve not looked back. I’ve grown attached to Agnes and Tiger – thank-you for your service, if they’re your creations, by the way – and don’t want✤ to replace them. But I’ve also realised that I don’t understand how Pawns work.
It’s Not Me, It’s You
I tried giving them items to spread my carry weight between my party, but saw a warning that the Pawns would return to their masters at some point, items in hand. The items that I bought them, that I worked for, that we found together. So Agnes and Tiger have their most basic gear equipped, because I lღive in fear of betrayal.
I don’t know if they’re levelling up alongside me and Leloina either. I can’t remember seeing the pop up on screen, and don’t think it would work with the Strand-like Pawn-sharing system Dragon’s Dogm💎a 2 has in place. Leloina hasn’t levelled up thanks to her travels with other players, so perhaps Agnes and Tiger are just early-game Pawns who I need to say goodbye to.
Our party was perfect. Our party was balanced. Agnes still lets me know that we’ve got all our bases covered with our variety of vocations, and I still thank her for pointing it out. Despite the fact that I love her like my o♓wn grandmother, who had similar restorative powers through the medium of perfect r⛦oast potatoes, it might be time to say goodbye. Tiger, too, might have outlasted his time exploring with me and Leloina.
I’ll be gutted to break my party up. I feel like I know Tiger and Agnes as intimately as my own Pawn, and they’ve helped me through thick and thin. But they’ve h🔯it their ceilings, and if I’m planning on pushing th♐rough Battahl and Dogma-ing this Dragon, I’ll need stronger Pawns by my side. I love you guys. I’m sorry.
