How To Start Dulled Steel, Cold Forge

This quest begins in Vernworth, and you'll need to head into the Vernworth Castle area to do so. As you walk up to the castle entrance, a soldier named Roman will approach you and ask you to step to the side.

He'll ask you for your help in repairing the , a🔯nd will hand it over to you, startin⛎g the quest.

First, you'll need to speak to Roderick, and you'll find him at Roderick's Smithy in the center of Vernworth. He'll appraise the sword, then direct you to someone else: a dwarven smith located in Battahl.

How To Find The Legendary Dwarven Blacksmith

You'll need to head to the country of Battahl next, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:there are tඣwo ways you can get into it: either through the gate at Checkpoint Rest Town, or taking a long path through the mountains west of Checkpoint Rest Town.

If you're passing through the gate at Checkpoint Rest Town, you can take an oxcart straight to Bakbattahl from the Battahli side of the border.

Either route you take into Battahl itself, make your way to the capital city of Bakbattahl in the southeastern corner of Battahl.

Go down to where the armor and weapons shops are and take the path leading to a home in the southwestern corner of the city.

Make sure you've progressed in the story mission Nation Of The Lambent Flame enough to have received a from Ser Menella as well.

You'll need it to get into Bakbattahl🔴, and remain in the city without incident from the guards.

Go inside and speak to Brokkr in the back room first, then try to leave the room, and you'll be approached by Sara, his apprentice.

Once Brokkr leaves, speak to Sara again, and she'll explain that you need some if you want the Regalia Blade fixed and that you can find it in Digger's Ruins.

How To Get Glimmercoal

Digger's Ruin is due south of Bakbattahl, and you'll need to find a minimum of 15 pieces of Glimmercoal for Sara, but you can bring her more for a slight increase in Gold obtained in the reward.

While Digger's Ruins is dark like most caves, you'll want to keep your lantern off most of the time, as the Glimmercoal only glows if there's no light around and its light will fade if you get too close while your lantern's on.

Even if your lantern is on, you can tell the general location of any Glimmercoal by the green flecks with a faint glow on the walls near you.

You can tell the difference between and without your lantern by checking the prompt.

Glymercole has an Examine prompt when nearby, while Glimmercoal will have a Gather prompt.

As you navigate Digger's Ruins, focus on getting rid of all the enemies with your lantern out first, which mainly include various types of Knackers, but near the bottom areas and corners, you'll 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:encounter some regular Slimes.

Once you've cleared everything out, you'll be free to look for the Glimmercoal with your lantern off afterward without fear of anythinꦚg sneak🧜ing up on you.

You'll also find a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:powerful Goreminotaur in the deepest section of Digger's Ruins, but it won't come out of its locati𒁏on unless you search it out.

There's a total of 43 Glimercoal spread out throughout the entirety of Digger's Ruins, and the majority of them are obtainable by any class.

A handful of Glimmercoal pieces in a specific location on Floor One either need a Mage or Sorcerer with Levitate to reach or bring boxes stacked up to reach them. This location also features the most densely packed amount of Glimmercoal in Digger's Ruins.

Even though the Glymercole isn't used for the quest, it still sells for 150 Gold per piece, and there are around 110 pieces in Digger's Ruins, giving you a profit of around 15,000 Gold if you get them all.

Once you've got all the Glimmercoal you're willing or able to carry, leave Digger's Ruins and head back to Brokkr's house in Bakbattahl.

How To Complete Dulled Steel, Cold Forge

Player Arisen in the delivery menu and planning to deliver 25 Glimmercoal to Sara in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Speak to Sara again, and then you can deliver up to 25 Glimmercoal to her. After another conversation, hand the Dulled Regalia Blade over to her, and you'll complete the quest.

For your troubles, you'll be rewarded with some exp and up to 12,000 Gold, and immediately get access to the next quest in the line, Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge.
