Where To Find Cyclops

Cyclops can be found in many areas of Vermund and Battahl, and one of the first ones you'll fight is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:during the One Eyed Interloper quest.

Most often you'll find them in forested locations, such as in eastern Vermund, and you'll often hear them before you see them, since the🍨y'll be stomping around or hitting into trees.

Non-Armored Cyclops are more common in Vermund, while Armored Cyclops are most common in Batta🦄hl.

Some specific locations that they spawn at include:

  • The broken bridge northwest of Trevo Mine, near both the Riftstone of Duty and the Malachite Forest.
  • North of Sandspire Den in southern Battahl.
  • Outside of Sandsear Cave in Battahl.
  • In a large room near the exit of Drabnir's Grotto in southern Battahl.

Cyclops can also appear during a raid while you're riding an Ox Cart, or come into Vermund to attack randomly.

How To Kill Cyclops

Cyclops are big, dangerous enemies, and there are two variants you'll see throughout the game: unarmored Cyclops and armored Cyclops.

There are almost no differences between the two in terms of tactics, as they have the same attacks, and the only real difference is how easy it is to damage their vulnerable spots, and their damage.

It's possible to cause Cyclops to fall into bodies of water or down⛎ onto much lower ground to kill them instantly.

How To Kill Non-Armored Cyclops

If the Cyclops doesn't have any armor, you're in for an easier fight with them. Cyclops of any kind have three main vulnerable spots that you'll want to aim for regardless of class:

  • Their eye.
  • Their weapon arm.
  • And their legs.

If you're a close-range Vocation like Warrior or Thief, you'll want to either attack their legs normally or grab onto their legs and hit them.

Doing enough damage to their legs will cause them to become unbalanced, and you can then push them until they fall, giving you and your pawns easy access to their eye, and it has a chance to make them drꦦop their weapon.

Damage to the legs is also going to distract them from swinging and cause them to use shorter-range stomping attacks instead of swinging their club.

For long-range Vocations like Archer or Mage, you can aim directly at the eye with arrows or spells for increased damage, and attacking this area also gives you a chance to stun it briefly.

It's also possible to climb up onto its head via its back and legs, and aim for the eye this way while doing damage on the way up, but you run the risk of the Cyclops flinging you off.

You can use your Health and Stamina healing shortcuts to heal yourself while you're climbing up a Cyclops or other large enemy, so you can stay o𒉰n longer and do more damag꧙e.

Disarming the Cyclops by attacking its arm with spells, arrows, or while climbing can also diable its weapon attacks briefly, and give you a chance for some free damage when it pauses to get its weapon back.

How To Kill Armored Cyclops

When dealing with an armored Cyclops, the strategies are generally the same, but with additional danger. Like before, you'll want to aim for its eye and legs primarily, but this can be difficult due to its armor.

Armored Cyclops will generally have armor on up to four places on their bodies:

  • On both of their legs.
  • On their elbows.
  • Across their upper back.
  • And a helmet to protect their eye.

Running into most types of a Cyclops' armor will damage you and cause slight knockback.

If they've got any kind of armor on, you'll want to aim for the armored spots and knock the armor off to reveal their vulnerable spots, or else you won't be doing much damage, and you won't be able to grab onto it nearly as much. This can be done in a few ways:

  • Climbing up onto the helmet and repeatedly attacking it can knock the helmet off and expose its eye.
  • Armor on their legs and knees can be knocked off by either repeatedly attacking it on foot or after pushing a Cyclops down.
  • Aiming arrows and spells at their armored parts can work to break them off, especially single-target spells like High Levin.

Getting a Cyclops off balance and pushing it over can break off most of its armor and make it drop its weapon.

Armored Cyclops will use the same attacks as regular Cyclops, but depending on whether they're carrying a spiked club, they'll be doing more damage and have slightly more range on their swings.
