Most of the time, a game as sprawling and time-consuming as an open-world RPG usually lets you stop to smell the roses and take your time, giving you ample opportunity to solve the worries of every bystander with a slightly furrowed brow. However, there are times when developers like to put pressure on the player by giving your actions consequences, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon's Dogma 2 is one such title that won't tolerate you dillydallying with certain quests.
First spotted by Reddit user Strange_Music, it has been explained that certain side quests in Dragon's Dogma 2 will be affected by the passage of time, and will continue even without player intervention. It goes on to explain that if you take on too many side quests at once, and take your time getting to the one with a time limit, there will be "unintended consequences" for doing so, most likely horribly negative ones.
For example, if a boy is lost in the middle of the woods, and you're given a set amount to find him, dawdle for too long or go and do another quest before heading out on your search, you may not be able to bring that boy home. According to , these quests will be marked with an hourglass in the journal to let players know you only have a set amount of time before those "unintended consequences" take shape.
This is nothing new for Dragon's Dogma fans, as the original had quests that would fail or change radically upon reaching certain parts of the story. At least there seems to be an hourglass telling which ones will fail this time though.
Unfortunately, we don't know how this time limit is measured right now. A limit based on real-world time would be a lot more manageable, but less realistic, while an in-game time limit would ratchet up the pressure quite a lot, especially if you're struggling with how to progress. Either way, this is you first and only warning to either not take a bunch of quests at once, or finish your timed ones as swiftly as possible.
Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't too far away now, launching in a little under two weeks on March 22. Until then, Capcom has given players the ability to create their player character and Main Pawns, something which the community has been enjoying ever since the character creator's official release. If you do plan on trying it out, you'll need to pick a camp. Do you recreate your favoriඣte character from other titles such as Baldur's Gate 3 and God of War, or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:do you create some kind of horrible monstr𒅌osity? There is no inbetween.
