A new preview for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon's Dogma 2 reveals that it will only let players make one save at a time, just like the original. Not only will this lock you into one playthrough at once, but the save file will also be overwritten by autosaves, so you won't be able to make multiple backups in case you want to change your strategy.

This comes from 's latest preview of Dragon's Dogma 2, shedding some more light on the sequel ahead of its launch on March 22. Unfortunately, this isn't as positive as other reveals have been, as developer Capcom is sticking to a feature from the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon's Dogma that fans would have been hoping 𝕴not to see again.

In the preview, translated into English via Google, it's noted that, "There is only one save slot in this game, and auto saves and manual saves share that slot." It also highlights that the game is "quite tough by modern open-world standards".

In practice, this means that if you regret taking on an area or a boss, you might not be able to go back to an older save to do something else first, as it may have been overwritten by the autosave. Perhaps most irritatingly, console players will have to make multiple accounts to start another campaign, ﷺwhereas PC players should be able to manually back up their old save to avoid overwriting it.

While fans are hyped for the game, they aren't particularly impressed by this latest development. In a thread on the main Dragon's Dogma subreddit, many say they were hoping the sequel would improve upon this.

"I honestly can't believe they'd go this route," says Reddit user EldritchPangolin. "I would've liked to be able to play multiple characters at a time. Capcom, whyyyyyy???

"This is the first disappointing news for this game to me," Zikari82 agrees. "But this is a big one, can't believe they didn't change that..."

Still, it's not bad going that this is probably the first disappointing news for most fans. For the most part, the community is just relieved to finally get a Dragon's Dogma sequel, with the first game launching all the way back in 2012, believe it or not. In all that time, all we had were next-gen and PC ports, since the first game was released on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 3 and168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Xbox 360. Now, its follow-up is coming to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X/S and PC.
