Dragon’s Eye is an indie action adventure from Pixel Maverick Games that displays colorful visuals with fantasy lore. Pixel’s main goal was to remind players of the last time they let their🃏 imaginations run wild by recreating a fantasy that would exist in the mind of a child.
Writing a post for Indie DB, Pixel provided gamers with an inside look at the creative process behind Dragon’s Eye as well as game play and style. Pixel started work on Dragon’s Eye in 2017 shortly after the devs first release Candlelight that was primarily aimed at children. Pixel has always considered game⭕s as a way of awakening the endless imagination we used to be able to tap into as children and find complete joy in exploring the unknown.
Pixel’s second title has a little bit of everything for gamers featuring exploration, platforming, combat and straightforward puzzle solving. Inspiration was drawn from past 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda games with the main narrative driving the player towards temples and dungeons while still being able to explore the open-world around them. Dragon’s Eye took note of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty and Don Bluth’s arcade game changer Dragon’s Lair when cons♑idering the art style. The game features rich aꩵnd vibrant colors that resemble a scene that has been painted as Pixel was not a big fan of ultra-realistic looking games.
Dragon’s Eye has come after a 3 y🌳ear journey that undertook numerous design changes before Pixel announced its arrival at the last fight that has still to be finalized. Stating that there is already 6-10 hours of gameplay, Pixel concluded by showing a side by side comparison of what a rendered scene created in 2017 looked like compared to the recent image in 2020.
Dragon’s Eye features quick combat and many creatures within the evolving open-world of Northway. Yen is a168澳洲幸运5开奖网: courageous knight and the game’s main protagonist who must travel across unfamiliar lands to save his world from the dragon Gonti. The adventure game follows🃏 Yen as he obtains powerful weapons, crosses magical creatures and encounters wizards and warriors in order to collect the three sword enchantments needed to slay the dragon.
