Shrek has long since surpassed being a character from a movie. For some reason I can't fathom, Shrek has become an internet sensation, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the king of mem♓es and bꦕad horror games. There are probably children in the world right now who have never seen Shrek, but they have witnessed its impact just by strolling through the web. Despite being immensely popular, Shrek has more or less disappeared from movie theaters.

Just in case you need a reminder about the movie, Shrek was about an ogre who lived in a swamp and wanted to be left alone. He gets dragged into a quest for a princess, ends up falling in love with her, and the two of them live happily ever after. The movie was supposed to be the antithesis of a regular fairy tale, but it ended up following the same pathways. Shrek gained its popularity from iꦗts irreverent sense of humor, superb voice acting talent, and numerous pop culture references.

Despite its success, Shrek has its share of flaws. Believe me, it has its share of flaws. Nearly all kids movies have strange story elements since people try to make the plot more entertaining for children, and Shrek kind of takes the cake for flaws. There are more plot holes in Shrek than there are fart jokes in Shrek. (There are a lot of fart jokes in Shrek.) Don't believe me? Read on if you want to check out the unanswered questions and plot goofs that layer Shrek's story.

25 A Glowing Transfo♔rmation

via: fanpop.com

Princess Fiona tries to hide the fact that she tran🎶sforms into an ogre every night from Shrek and Donkey. The first night the three of♐ them spent together was a bit of a predicament for her. She had to rip off some bark from a tree to fashion a door for a rock alcove so that Shrek and Donkey wouldn't see her change.

Her change, as we see near the end of the movie, involves a lot of glowing golden light. That piece of bark should not have been able to contain that golden glow. Honestly, Shrek and Donkey should have seen that 🌄bri🦂lliant light.

24 A Rescuer Fit For A♈ Princess

Lord Farquaad is an odd nut. He's the shortest man you meet in the movie, inside and out. When Shrek first meets him, Farquaad is hosting a tournament to see who is going to go rescue his 🃏princess for him. (The guy didn't even want to go rescue hi♐s own princess.)

Farquaad ends up sending Shrek to go find Fiona. As far as I'm aware, ogres were very much feared and detested in this world. Why would Farquaad send someone he disliked and distrusted to go rescue Fiona?

23 A Strang🧔e Match

One of the funniest aspects of the movie was Donkey's relationship with Dragon. So there's this dragon🌜 guarding Fiona in her tower, and this dragon just so happens to take a liking to Donkey. How is this relationship even possible?

Donkey and Dragon are completely incompatible.

Their sizes are different, for one thing, and their species are not similar at all. Dragon doesn't even spꦏeak words. Donkey should have been a tasty treat for her t♈he day they met.

Fiona's transform🍰ation every night turns her into an ogre. As an ogre, she is naturally much larger than she is as a human. Throughout her journey with Shrek and Donkey✃, she only wears one slim-fitting, green gown.

I think she must have been hiding spares on her person. Otherwise, how could Fiona transform into a large ogre without tearing her dress? Or maybe, in this fantasy world that is Shrek, fabric is just stretchier than it is around here.

21 Why Didn't The Mirror Tell Farqu🦩aad The Tr꧋uth?

via: pinterest.ie (Joeyiz1)

Lord Farquaad asks a magic mirror to help him find a princess. The mirror gives Farquaad three options to pick, and Farquaad picks Fiona. After Farquaad makes his c꧑hoice, the mirror tries to warn Farquaad about Fiona's ogre condition, but Farquaad just shuts him up.

I understand the mirror being silenced then, but why didn't it tell Farquaad about Fiona's curse while it was presenting her as an option? ℱOr why didn't the mirror say anything while Farquaad was looking at Fiona's picture on repeat?

While Fiona is busy taking out Robin Hood and his men, all Shrek and Donkey can do is stare in amazement. But, as it turns out, Shrek got injured during the fight without realizing it. At some point while Robin Hood and his Merry Men were getting their behinds whupped, Shrek got his behind shot through with an arrow.

How do you not notice an arrow being shot into your rear?

A😼re ogre bottoms made of much sterner stuff than a regular person's?

19 🤡 Disagreeing With This Line Of Questioning 💦

We are first introduced to Lord Farquaad when he is striding through his castle on his way to an interrogation chamber. Inside the chamber lies the hapless Gingerbreadꦫ Man. When Farquaad reaches him, he begins questioning him a🧔bout where the other fairy-tale creatures are.

And then, for some reason, Gingy starts telling him about the Muffin Man who lives on Drury Lane and who this Muffin Man is married to. It's a slightly humorous exchange, but it makes no sense given what Lord Farquaad was asking.

18 The Peter Pan Betrayal 🎶

Donkey is introduced to us while his owner is trying to๊ sell him off. Lord Farquaad's men are handing out rewards to anyo🐻ne who turns in a fairy-tale creature. We see Geppetto selling Pinocchio and Peter Pan selling Tinker Bell.

I can maybe swallow Geppetto getting rid of his untruthful puppet-child, but why would Peter Pan give Tinker Bell away when Tinker Bell is what makes him fly and stay young forever? It makes no sense for Peter Pan to abandon Tinker Bell.

During the tournament Lord Farquaad holds to decide who will go rescuܫ🅰e Princess Fiona for him, Shrek and Donkey come barging in and interrupt the proceedings. Lord Farquaad sends the men participating in the tournament to attack the ogre and his pet.

Shrek then goes on to beat the men who dared to consider fighting him. (Shrek actually has a wonderful gift of showmanship.) The crowd of people watching the tournament begins to cheer for Shrek. This ogre just defeated their own men. Why would the crowd cheer for Shrek?

Fiona did not recognize that Shrek was an ogre when she first met him. I've got to call bull-turkey on that. Did she not notice the greenish tint to his skin color? Sure, his little ear thingies were hidden by his knight's♒ helmet, but come on! The guy's skin is a lime-green color.

Fiona should get her eyesight checked if an ill-fitting helmet was able to throw her off so completely. At least she's not as bad as Lois Lane with Clark Kent's glasses. That is the worst disguise in the his✃tory of disgui🃏ses.
