Taiko no Tatsujin is a series similar to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Guitar Hero, but with taiko drums as the instrument. Prevalent in Japanese arcades, the player has two sticks that can be bashed on a big drum controller. It's immensely fun as you tap the head and casing of the drum to the beat. The songs range from J-Pop, to anime, to classical, to game music with alternate difficulties with each track. In our experience, drumming to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Mario Bros, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Quest, and Naruto's "Blue Bird" in Vancouver's Metrotown ar🔴cade was particularly awes🦄ome!
Taiko no Tatsujin made its Switch debut in November 2018 in the West. Its release featured HD Rumble, designed to make you feel like you're hitting a real drum. It also had tracks from Nintendo games like Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Kirby's Dream Land. The epic battle theme "Megalovania" from Undertale is also in the game! Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n Fun also released on the PS4, but the Switch version had more of a complete playlist, as it had plenty of Nintendo💝-exclusive songs.
It's great to see a game from the struggling music/rhythm genre thrive in today's market. Hopefully, another title in the genre from Harmonix, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fuser, will have the same reception with its DJ mechanics. At least Fuser🍨 isn't selling a plastic instrument peripheral this time.
