Dual Universe has been heavily compared to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:EVE Online, in reference to the sci-fi game's scale an🌸d everything a player can do within its parameters. The game has been locked away in closed testing for now, bᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚut an IGN reporter managed to steal an exclusive look at Novaquark's expansive MMO.
IGN reporter David Jagneaux got his taste of the demo from the developers, and left with mixed opinions on the upcoming epic. The concept of Dual Universe, which has been 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:categorized as a sandbox MMO, is overwhelming enough just to read about. Not only does the game fea༒ture the endless abyss of space to explore, but it also allows and encourages players to build spaceships, space stations and entire cities from scratch. It's a time consuming feat, but a feature that could effectively inspire massive amounts of creativity from players to gain total immersion.
Combat in PvP mode appears to work in real-time and has an added sense of realism when your character needs to physically go tend to a repair that needs attention after battle. Jagneaux described Dual Universe's combat as "a bit slow" and "unfinished" despite the game still being in closed alpha. Due to the size of the space vessels that are featured, movement around the stars seems to be slower than what most gamers are expecting to resemble a Star Wars battle. It was also mentioned that due to the server, that will have to host several people at a time, it makes sense for everything to be a little slower, but it sadly doesn't benefit the player's experienc💃e.
Competing with EVE Online is not an easy task, and according to Jagneaux's report i🐼t seems as if the devs h✅ave a little work to do on delivering a thrilling experience to players. Novaquark could also be targeting a community of gamers who just want to build, create, and gawk at their inventions operating within the marvels of space. PvP seems to exist in order for players to claim land or to resource a certain material they need for crafting, but without combat, it could easily satisfy many as a building simulator.
Novaquark is💦 apparently still plannin🦂g to expand the MMO that already looks infinite, by including PvP on-foot within vessels or perhaps on nearby planets that were most likely constructed by another player.
Dual Universe launches in open beta on Augu♕st 27 with a full launch 💖coming next year.
