The Deep Desert, which serves as Dune: Awakening's endgame, is an area that's constantly besieged by PvP battles. However, there have been c🍌onstant complꦗaints that there's not much else to do in the endgame besides fight other players. Funcom has finally heard these prayers and will soon be expanding the PvE section of Deep Desert, like it has already done so🦄 in its test server.

Dune: Awakening's Deep Desert Will Get A Larger PvE Area

In a recent , Funcom has detailed all the new cha🍰nges that have come with the update to Dune: Awakening's public test client. A PTS is a separate server where developers test out new features before making them live in the main game. Among the highlights was the expansion 𝐆of the PvE area in the Deep Desert endgame region.

"The PvE area near the shield wall has been expanded toᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ cover row A, B, C, D and half of E within the Deep Desert," said the patch notes. Since this is something the community has been asking for a while about, you can bet that these changes wi🍸ll soon come to the main server of Dune: Awakening as well.

While you can play Dune: Awakening like a traditional MMO, there's a strong cas🌼e to be made for gri🍰nding through the game solo.

What this means is that endgame 🌜players will now have half of the Deep Desert area solely for PvE-based gameplay, and won't have to worry about going up against other players. Unfortunately, there's no word on when this will translate to the base game, but Funcom will want to iron everything out before doing so.

The other changes include sandworms lingering around spice fields that have just been harvested, reduced clashes between Harkonnen and Atreides forces in H💎agga Basin, a few improvements in streamer mode, and other resource management tools. All of this comes with a series of technical and gameplay improvements.
