Funcom just release꧙d , making a highly requested change that makes the endgame more enjoyable for everyone, rather than just players in large guilds.

End Game, Game Changer

"Changed Landsraad tasks to allow for kill and delivery contributions to happen afterꦜ the task has been completed, but awarding only personal contribution (i.e., which faction has won and how many guild votes were awarded are unaffected by contributions made after🏅 the task was completed by one faction)."

The L𝓰andsraad is an end-game system whereby factions compete to be the first to complete tasks, earning rewards and voting 𓂃power to enact server-wide rule changes.

🥃Essentially, this means that players are rewarded for completing in-progress tasks, even if that particular task has been r꧃esolved by one faction or the other. This change has been made to address a problem smaller guilds were having with earning Landsraad rewards.

As ꦜsoon as a Landsraad task became available, larger guilds were using their plentiful numbers and resources to complete the tasks quickly. This had a knock-on effect on guilds that couldn't work as quickly, as the task was completed before these guilds could make any personal contributions to their faction.

As reward distribution is calculated based on personal contribution, these players were left empty-handed despite genuine attempts to finish the task. W😼ith this change, players will now be able to hand in their contributions after the task has ended. Though it won't affect which faction finished the task first, it will count for players' personal contribution.

This change has gone down well with players, re𝔍sulting💛 in further praise for Funcom's stewardship of Dune: Awakening.
