The game is set in the fictional realm of the Eberron campaign setting, and as such has Eberron’s characteristically distinct reimagining of many fantasy elements. This gives it a unique feel, so that in a world saturated with D&D knockoffs, this actual Dungeons and Dragons video game still comes across feeling original. While it was released back in 2006, the newest expansion was announced earlier this year and allows players to journey into the ench෴anted plane known as the Feywild. It remains one of the best MMOs around.
