Cragmaw Hideout is an adventure for four to six 1st level characters. It's the name of the first adventure site that you visit in the Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign (also known as the Starter Kit). This adventure involves a goblin ambush, trail tracking, some interesting traps, a bugbear boss fight, and a prisoner rescue. It's a standard dungeon tromp that calls back to the earliest days of D&D.
For this reason, it makes a perfect one shot for introducing new players to the game. Cragmaw Hideout has all the essential elements you can expect from a game of D&D: exploration, roleplay, and combat. The interplay between the goblin leader Yeemik, who wishes to become head of the clan, and the current bugbear clan head Klarg, shows the depth that monsters in D&D are capable of. After Yeemik loses to you, he threatens the prisoner's life and tries to put the PCs (player characters) up to killing Klarg. Furthermore, there's an awesome water trap in the dungeon that's simply hilarious.
5 ꦺ Firefinger
Firefinger is a fairly deadly adventure for four to six 3rd or 4th level characters. This is an adventure location found in the wilderness of Chult, during the adventures of Tomb of Annihilation. Firefinger itself is a stone tower that rises 300 feet above the ground. The adventure involv🐟es stealth, a tower ascent, creepy crawlies, pterodactyl people, and the threat of death by a very, very steep fall.
The pterodactyl people, called pterafolk, are a threat to anyone who would pass the the continent's jungles. They carry their prey to the top of the tower where they roost, drop them from the towering heights for their own amusement, and then feast on the squished remains. PCs are called here to reclaim 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a magic item of worth to Azaka Stormfang, a woman with dark secrets of her own. This adventure can be hacked and slashed through at great peril, or played out as a stealth mission to retrieve the mask without garnering the pterafolk's notice.
4 ⛄ Gnomengarde ꦛ
Gnomengarde is a role-play-heavy adventure for four to six 1st or 2nd level charac🌺ters. This adventure can be found in Dragon of Icespire Peak as one of the first missions available in the campaign. The gnomes of Gnomengarde are a relaxed, if a bit eccentric, people, who are currently struggling with the intrusion of a murderer into their home. In the past tenday, two gnomes have suddenly disappeared. This adventure provides intrigue, mystery solving, heavy role play, traps and hazar🎶ds, and a mad king.
The culprit of the crimes is, of course, a mimic. Consequently, you will have to do a lot of investigating in order to properly identify the shapechanged creature. Along the way, you will have to convince the gnomes of Gnomengarde that they themselves aren't shapechangers as well, while also avoiding their numerous contraptions, some of which aren't so helpful. Altogether, this is an inspired adventure that's better if you aren't so interested in combat.
3 Book Of Th♌e Raven
Book of the Raven is a mystery adventure for four to six 3rd level characters. This adventure is found in the annals of Candlekeep Mysteries, a collection of one shots that can be organized into a greater narrative using the mystical library location of Candlekeep. It's best to start this adventure in the hamlet of Wytchway, if run as a one shot, where a raven mysteriously delivers a book to the PCs. This adventure includes spooky hauntings, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cursed items, the undead, heavy exploration, a surprising twist, and a (possible) diffജicult cꩵombat.
Book of the Raven is perfect if you're interested in exploring and being immersed in a world more than anything else. Additionally, it can serve as the host of a very difficult and climactic combat encounter, should you desire to work in a lead to the shadow crossing. A simple one to add would be that an ally of the Scarlet Sash mysteriously went missing after visiting the Haarn Mausoleum. The wereravens would pay handsomely for information on his whereabouts (he probably died in the Shadowfell).

Salvage Operation i🔜s a combat slog for four to six 3rd or 4th level characters. This adventure can be found as a singleton adventure in the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign book. Salvage Operation includes a touch o♎f mystery, ship dungeon exploration, a ton of combat, spiders and spider people, team problem solving, and an edge-of-your-seat climax involving a kraken.
This is the best adventure to run if your players simply want to hack and slash some monsters. You can summarize how the PCs were hired for their current job and then z🔯oom in on the adventure as their rowboat approaches the abandoned ship known as the Emperor. Best of all, thꦦe end of the adventure provides a real adrenaline rush, as the PCs roll initiative in an attempt to escape the ship with their haul, all before the Emperor is completely sunk by an attacking kraken.
1 Camp ▨Righteous ꦫ
Camp Righteous is a puzzle-solving adventure for four to six 3rd or 4th level characters, found in the jungles of Chult within the Tomb of Annihilation campaign. This adventure involves some exploration, an important riddle, curious animals, heavy problem-solving, a hilarious and quite possibly terrifying goblin ambush, traps and hazards (both magical and mundane), and a high chance of a TPK. You can easily turn Camp Righteous into a𓃲 one shot by telling the PCs that they were sent here on a mission from the Flaming Fist to recover the artifact inside the House of Man and Crocodile.
This is undoubtedly the most difficult of the one shots here, if for no other reason than it's impossible to hack and slash your way to victory. Instead, you and your players will have to put your thinking caps on to truly discern how to best 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:brave this dastardly death trap. Honestly, to say that this one shot is the equivalent of turning the Tomb of Horrors into a one shot is pretty accurate. Any DM interested in running this one shot should warn their players ahead of time that there's a fair chance that this adventure will end in a frustrating TPK. However, Camp Righteous still bears mentioning due to its puzzle-based nature. After all, puzzles are an important part of D&D — but there are no hard feelings if you change your mind about the importance of puzzles after running this.
