But, what of the monsters that aren't horrific or gruesome? What of the furry ones that make you want to hug them, or at least the weird ones that are just too unique to not "aww" at? Whether you want to throw a cute monster at the party as a potential companion or you want to horrify them as a cuddly encounter turns deadly, here are some of the cutest monsters in D&D.

10 Monodrone

Fiercely loyal to their own society in the plane of Mechanus and having limited intelligence, these creatures aren't to be messed with. But, they do look like a steampunk Mike Wazowski.

9 Bullette

Like a cross between a shark and a puppy, these monsters can dive into th♏e earth before leaping out and grabbing unsuspecting adventurers.

But, once again they look like an odd mix between a shark and a puppy. So they've got that going for them. They can get rather large, but the little ones definitely could get some "awww"s before they come to chew your leg off. Compared to the other monsters in D&D, though, this one is definitely more friend shaped than the others that may try to eat you.

8 Gela💟tinous Cube ꧑

Speaking of fr🍸iend shaped, these cubic creatures may n🌜ot have a face or be able to communicate, but there is something about them that is oddly cute.

A creature from early on in the creation of D&D, these classic monsters are made of a pudding-like acid that suffocates and then eats away at whatever was unlucky enough get stuck inside of it. Thankfully, they're incredibly slow. Pretty much D&D's deadly equivalent of that "pet rock" toy.

7 Sprite

These tiny fey humanoids are quite reminiscent of fairies from myth. They're also neutral good, so they shouldn't bother you unless you are disrupting them or the sacred nature they often protect. While they are deadly warriors when they need to be, they often avoid conflict.

Sprites also have heart sense which lets them see a creature's emotional state. So, unless you're downright evil, these fey creatures are great to hang around with and watch fly around the forest.

6 ꧋ ♈ Pseudodragon

A pocket-sized dragonic creature? Why wouldn't these things be cute?

Granted, they do have a mean bite and scorpion-like stinging tail, but they aren't usually hostile to adventurers, so that's a definite plus. In fact, they can be a great companion when considering they're the size of a Chihuahua, understand common, have simple telepathy, and are resistant to magic. These creatures are a great companion for magic users in your party.

5 Owlbear

While at larger sizes they can be a force to be reckoned with and sometimes aggressive, they aren't evil and often roam the forests with defense and hunting on their mind. They mostly resemble bears in size and shape but with long owl-like feathers and heads. If you can find a docile one or even tame an Owlbear you'll have a lifelong friend. Their cubs are especially cute.

4 Tressym

Think a cat🃏 version of a pegasus. These winged little guys are another creature commonly recruited as adventuring companions and familiars. They get no larger than the typi🍌cal house cat and their coats reflect the same typical colors one would find in such a creature.

Their wings, howe🎀ver, come in a variety of forms from owlish to that of butterflies. Like house cats too, Tressyms are usually docile, but have the teeth and claws to defend themselves against smaller creatures if need be.

3 Flumph

Found solely in the Underdark, these floating jell♍yfish like creatures are for sure on the weirder side of cute. But, but cute nonetheꦫless.

Flumph's are named from the sound they make, expelling air from their bodies to maneuver themselves as they hover along. Don't let their eye stalks and many tentacles fool you; they are usually harmless to adventurers. Lawfully good and usually in small groups known as "cloisters", these creatures can be a sight for sore eyes in the dank caves of the Underdark. However, they feed on strong psychic energy, so they may be hanging around some other stronger creatures like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mind Flayers.

2 Almiraj

If Tressyms๊ are like cat-pegasi 𓆏then the Almiraj are rabbit-unicorns. Or maybe narwhals.

Another great option for an adventuring pet or familiar, Almiraj are docile herbivores that can be found in the feywild and mortal realms. Quick on their feet, they can speed away from attackers and even do a bit of damage with the horn on their heads. This makes them great for rangers or the scouting elements of an adventuring party.
