Dungeons & Dragons: The Most Ridiculous Spells You Should Definitely Try ಞJust For Fun 🐻

If y🌸ou're playing a caster in Dungeons & Dragons, you♛ have to try these absolutely ridiculous spells at least once.

2

But, could you imagine what it would be like to be able to cast certain spells from Dungeons & Dragons in real ཧlife? We certainly did. We've put together this list of spells from Dungeons & Dragons that would be incredibly useful in everyday life.

10 𝓰 Detect 🐲Thoughts

A mirror zone in a DND campaign.
Mirror Zone via Wizards of the Coast

Spell Level

2nd

Classes

Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard

Concentration?

Yes, up to 1 minute

Having a spell like Detect Thoughts in my personal spellbook would mean one very important thing. I would never have to ask someone if they're mad at me again. If you're like me🦋, and sometimes a bit paranoid about what others are thinking about you, you can probably understand the temptation to take a spell like Detect Thoughts.

S✃ure, this spell is probably not for everyone. Some people prefer to remain in ignorant bliss. Not me, though. I have to know what my frenemy is thinking of me. Frankly, I can't stand the pressure!

9 Haste

An adventuring party gives chase to a group of monstrous rats in Dungeons & Dragons.
An Exciting Chase by Simon Dominic

Spell Level

3rd

Classes

Sorcerer, Wizard

Concentration?

Yes, up to 1 minute

I'm not really sure a spell like Haste would work the way I wanted it to in real life, but I think it's worth a shot. Although using a spell like this in real life is proba💫bly going to force you to burn through a lot of spell slots rather quickly. Either way, hear me out.

Have you ever had a deadline you're coming up against and just not enough time to do it? Wondering if everybody really does have the same 24 h𒐪ours as you? I'd like to suggest that, by casting Haste multiple times in a row, I could hopefully reduce a task that might normally take an hour to a few minutes of time. Sure, you might be exhausted by the end, but the results would hopefully be well worth it!

8 Augury

A cleric stands outside a magnificent cathedral amidst a crowd in the Greyhawk setting of Dungeons & Dragons.
Holy Days by Martin Mottet

Spell Level

2nd

Classes

Cleric, Druid, Wizard

Concentration?

No

Yes, Augury is a bit of a mysterious spell. Even in the context of Dungeons & Dragons, it doesn't always work. However, I know that, as an adult, I often find myself thinking 'what should I do now?' As kids, we think adults know everything, but they really don't. That's where a spell like Augury com𝔉es in.

Alignment is an important part of your character in Dungeons & Dr🐼agons, but it also says something about you as a player.

1

If I could get 💎a sign from the universe as to what course of action I should take next, that would save me a lot of trouble. And that's exactly what the Augury spell does. Sure, the results can sometimes be hard to interpret, but it's better than nothing.

7 Mending

An automaton in the biblioplex at Strixhaven in DND.
The Library via Wizards of the Coast

Spell Level

Cantrip

Classes

Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard

Concentration?

No

I can't tell you how many glasses I've broken in my house, and how many times I've inadvertently shattered a coaster by slamming my enormous water bottle on it. If you've ever been in a similar situation and are tired of always having to replace small items like this around your house, then Mending is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:obviously the cantrip for you.

The practical uses of this spell are pretty obvious. You could use this spell to repair broken o♛bjects, or even your clothes. I know personally, I have a proclivity toward accidentally tearing clothes or breaking zippers. I think my life would be immensely easier with Mending in my spellbook.

6 🌺 Locate Obj𝓰ect

A player character explores a dungeon riddled with monsters in DND.
Dungeon Level via Wizards of the Coast

Spell Level

2nd

Classes

Bard, Cleric, Druid, Paladin, Ranger, Wizard

Concentration?

Yes, up to 10 minutes

Say goodbye to 'phone, wallet, keys.' How many time꧂s have you been rushing out the door, only to discover you can't find your phone? How many times have you had to turn your house upside down to find your missing car keys? If you've been there, I'm sure you can imagine how helpful having a spell like Locate Object would be.

Missing your wallet? Simply cast♚ Locate Object to track it down. The possibilities for this spell are endless. Any number of missing items could be found at the drop of a hat. Plus, the range of 1,000 feet on this spell is extremely useful.

5 Sleep

An artisan's workshop in Dungeons & Dragons.
Artisan Background by Luca Bancone

Spell Level

1st

Classes

Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard

Concentration?

Yes, up to one minute

Okay, this next spell requires a little bit of a bending of the rules, so bear with me. Technically speaking, you're meant to cast this spell 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:on enemies in Dungeons & Dragons. But, in real life,🐓 I don't really need to be knocking peopl🃏e unconscious most of the time. Rather, I need to knock myself out.

I'🦋m an occasionally troubled sleeper. So, I can't help but imagine how much easier my life would be if I could cast Sleep on myself to go to bed 🌞each night, or even on friends who are troubled sleepers as well. Is this how this spell technically works? Absolutely not. But one can dream.

4 Teleport

A bard opens up a magical portal in DND.
An Open Portal by Michele Giorgi

Spell Level

Classes

Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard

Concentration?

Traffic. Commuting. It's one of the most annoying problems that we have to deal with as people nowadays. Depending on where you live, you could end up having an hour-long c𒆙ommute to work. Or, putting work aside, it can prove incredibly frustrating to find yourself running late to social engagements do to long travel times.

Teleportation, in my mind, is both an underrated superpower and a Dungeons & Dragons spell. If you could teleport wherever you needed to go instantaneously, imagine how much time you🐻 would save in your everyday life!

3 Cr🅺eate Food An♍d Water

A sumptuous feast laid out on a table in DND.
Heroes' Feast by Raluca Marinescu

Spell Level

3rd

Classes

Cleric, Paladin

Concentration?

No

This spell appeals to me specifically as someone who used to chronically faint whenever I was too hungry or dehydrated. But, even if you're not prone to fainting, this spell would still prove immensely useful IRL. Sometimes, you're out on the town and you start feeling a bit peckish. Or, maybe you're on a long drive somewhere and realize you forgot y💟our water bottle.

Whatever the case may be, imagine b🦂ei♔ng able to easily conjure whatever type of food or drink you desire at the drop of a hat. This would be perfect for long travel days, or for those of us who have a tendency to underpack on outings.

2 Unseen ServantA colony of mimics in DND.

Spell Level

1st

Classes

Bard, Warlock, Wizard

Concentration?

No

In this par🐭ticular instance, I care less about the 'unseen' part of this spell and much more about the 'servant' part. Could you imagine how helpful it would be to be able to employ a servant to help you perform menial tasks around the house while you take care of other things?

We've all been there before. You put your foot in your mouth, you say something you shouldn't have, or someone overhears something that you didn't mean for them to. That's where Gift of Gab comes in. This spell, which comes from Acquisitions, Inc., al💞lows a player to reshape the memories of those around them.

When you cast this spell, you can force any creature of your choice within five feet of you to forget everything you said in the last six seconds. This is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:helpful in roleplay encounters iꦛn Dungeons & Dragons, 🉐and in the real world, too.
