If you happen to be playing the Dutch version of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, it might be worth taking note of a peculiar bug that's plaguing that version of the game. Players are reporting that defeating the final boss yields nothing but a frozen, blank screen.
Since this technical mishap involves 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyward Sword's final bo♕ss, consider this your official spoiler 𝄹warning!
It seems that after beating Demise in the Dutch language version, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyward Sword HD freezes up entirely. No ending cutscenes, musical cues, text boxes, or end credits appear at all. Instead, an unskippable white screen greets those heroes brave enough to save Hyrule from certain doom. Not precisely a hero's welcome, eh?
"Pressing Y does give the [Switch] calibration sound, but nothing else happens," said Hosnor101 over ⭕on . "I closed the game, beat Demise again, and the same happened again. It just hangs on a white screen, and nothing happens. Is this supposed to happen, or is there a post-game?"
They, unfortunately, weren't alone. "I'm experiencing the exact same thing, and it's very frustrating," said Mobje in . "I'm also Dutch, by the way. I've posted about the white screen freeze on Twitter tagging Nintendo NL and Nintendo USA. Unfortunately, no answer." Many others are chiming in to say they're running into the bug as well, and the through line is that they're all playing in Dutch.
One user did offer a potential solution to the problem, though. "Simply skip the first cutscene after the fight," states No_Bath3381 later in . "You'll still see the other parts of the ending. No changing languages, re-installing, or turning on and off required." However, it's worth noting that TheGamer cannot test this alleged solution, and nobody else in the thread spoke to its success.
Hopefully, Nintendo is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. Currently, the company hasn't made any public statement on it.
