Techland's games are stuffed with Easter Eggs and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dying Light 2 is no different. The game features references to Doom, Star Wars, Super Mario, Zelda, and many others. One of these Easter Eggs, “The Pan of Destiny”, will make you feel like the Norse God Thor.
The frying pan is a unique weapon that works like Thor’s legendary hammer Mjölnirr, or if you’re more familiar with the God of War universe, it’s a bit like the Leviathan Axe. It doesn’t do much damage, but it’s a faithful weapon that always comes back to you. Read this guide and you can have your own boomer🐻ang-like frying pan in a matter of minutes.
How To Find The Blueprint For The Pan Of Destiny
To get this weapon you must make a lot of progress in the main story, and play the mission called “Now or Never”, this is the quest where you go to the Renegades Stronghold to face The Colonel. However, it is easier to unlock this weapon once you finish the main story because the stronghold will be clear of enemies.
The blueprint for the Pan of Destiny can only be obtained after completing the Space Cock side quest, which you receive from a space rooster called Brunek. Yes, you read that right. The rooster claims to be from the New Galactic Federation airborne division and says he’s communicating with you via brain waves. Brunek says he’s been stuck on earth and needs the spaceship part to return to his home.
Follow the steps below, and you c﷽an easily finish this quest:
-
Cross the makeshift wooden bridge and enter the fortress.
-
Find the large dining table, open the hatch, and drop into the water.
-
Get out of the water, make your way to the top floor of the fortress.
-
Once you reach the top floor, find the staircase to your right.
-
Head straight and enter the room with the orange tent. The space rooster is hidden behind the tent, locked in a cage.
-
Interact with Brunek and get the “Space Cock” side mission. He’ll ask you to retrieve a part from his spaceship.
This room also con🐟tains a reference to the first Dying Light game. You can see a poster of Jade Aldemir a.k.a. "The Scorpion" on the left side of the cage. Jade was one of the main characters of the first game.
Now, depending on what choice you made in the final part of the story, traversing to the spaceship will differ. Either way, it’s a pretty straightforward task. Just reach the marker and grab the spaceship part. After picking up the part, just head back to the fortress and give it to the rooster.
The space rooster truly appreciates your help and even offers to take you with him, giving you a chance to escape the zombie-infested Villedor and leave all the worries behind. No matter which option you choose, Brunek teleports away, and shortly after, the blueprint for The Pan of Destiny will appear on the table next to the cage.
You’ll need 369 scraps to craft your own Mjölnirr. This may sound a little pricey, but it is worth it. Hitting enemies with the pan is both fun and satisfying, especially hearing the “DONK” noise after landing a successful throw can entertain you for quite some time. The Pan of Destiny looks like it can be upgraded, but there is no known way to increase its level for the time being.
