168澳洲幸运5开奖网:EA’s UFC 4 is finaꩲlly out on the August 14, 2020. Unlike EA’s other sporting franchises, however, fans of MMA have to wait two years between releases rather than get yearly updates. To make up for this, EA did a great job of making sure their UFC games were as up to date as possible with frequent roster updates and refinements to the engine.
With these kinds of updates, players need to know whether or not the investment in the newer UFC 4 is worth it. Thankfully, with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:EA Access allowing players to get to grips with the system for 10 hours before its release, it’s now easier to gauge what the best and worst things about the game are so ཧfar.
10 ▨ Best: The Stand-Up
Without playing the game straight after a playthrough of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:UFC 3 it would be easy to dismiss UFC 4 as being more of the same. However, 🔯there is so much more under the surface, as fighter movement is now smoother than ever thanks to RealPlayer Motion Technology.
It’s now more fluid and natural-looking to move defensively and get one’s back off the cage. It looks more natural when transitioning from strikes into the clinch and grappling. In additℱion, strikes now feel and sound more impactful than ever before and really feel like there’s a weight to them.
9 Worst: The Star Ratin🌼gs System 🌳
It must be very difficult creating 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a rating system for fighters with varying abilities and skillsets. Furthermore, there’s no way of getting a system so right that it’s going to please everyone especiꦦally the fans.
In UFC 4, each fighter’s ability is rated by a star system to give players an idea of who to pick for fights. Unfortunately, the star system doesn’t tell the full story when it comes to the fighters. S♛ome have seemingly identical ratings but have clear ability differences in the cage. On the plus side, this system does encourage new players to try out different fighters instead of selecting the highest rated fighters every time.
8 Best: Th🐽e Career Mode𝐆
The career mode in UFC 4 has seen huge improvements over its predecessors. Players can develop their fighter’s skills and moves in combat and improve their skills like an RPG. The more the player’s created fighter uses a specific move, the better they will become at using it – it levels up in rea💛l-time.
The experience feels more authentic, as players learn their upcoming opponent’s style by watching footage of previouౠs fights, create friendships and rivalries, and rise up 🍬through the ranks in the amateur divisions.
7 Worst: CA♏F Vanity Items
Many UFC fans and gamers will gravitate towards EA’s UFC series because they want the most accurate simulation of the sport as possible. They usually aren’t interested in silly customization optio๊ns when it comes to creating the🐎ir own fighters.
However, it seems that UFC 4 has taken a few pages from both the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:WWE 2K series and even Fortnite when it comes to creating a fighter costume. There are masks, wrest🀅ling style tights, wigs, and even bear masks.
6 Best: 😼The New Submission System
If there was one system in EA’s UFC series that needed an overhaul it was the complicated and unwelcoming submission system. While this system still had its fans among the most dedicated playe🍎rs out there, it was a massive turn off 🥃to fans that didn’t have the time to learn its mechanics.
In UFC 4, however, the system has received a complete makeover and feels a lot easier to pick up. The system now seems to have a lot more in common with the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:WWE 2K series🐠 and helps level the playing field for gamers that didn’t want to master the old submission system.
5 Worst: The New Submission Syste🗹m May Upset L💦ong Time Fans
One of the weakest aspects of EA’s UFC series has always been the submission system. It was just too fiddly for most and way too complicated for gamerꦿs that just want to jump in every now and again for a quick match without spending hours trying to get to ไgrips with it.
Yet, despite its flaws, there are still several fans of the series that have practiced long and hard over the years trying to master it. Therefore, a brand new submission🐲 system isn’t going to please everyone.
4 Best: The New Arenas ▨♓
The developers at EA have worked hard to make UFC 4 more approachable to newcomers and even non-MMA fans. While some gamers will no doubt enjoy the ☂addition of vanity items and customization tools to add꧑ to their fighters, the best feature has to be the new arenas.
In this entry, players can choose new arenas like “The Backyard” which pays tribute to the street fights that Jorge Masvidal and Kimbo Slice used to be a part of. This mode appears to be more brutal and bloody than the official caged version. Then there’s the Kumite arena paying tribute to the MMA lore of the past made famous in the Jean-Claude Van Damme movie Blood Sport. The Kumite feels more like an arcade mode that comes complete with voice-overs similar to those seen in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat series.
3 Worst: No Pride Mode 😼 🐈
There are a lot of great new features and game modes in UFC 4 that make it a more complete and more fun experience for MMA fans. Unfortunately, the much-requested Pride Mode that was last seen in THQ’s UFC Undisputed 3 is still missing.
The Pride Fighting Championships in Japan were the UFC’s biggest rival in terms of top-level fighters. The main differences between the two organizations were the foot stomping on downed opponents and fights taking place in a traditional kickboxing and boxing ring. It adds a different dynamic to the fights and would have been appreciated by MMA fans in UFC 4.
2 🍎 Best: The Grappling System 𓄧
In addition to a much more natural feeling and more impactful striking system in UFC 4, the grappling and wrestling system has seen major improvements too. The new clinch system is less robotic looking and far more f𝐆luid than its predecessors.
Players on the offensive are able to mix it up more by adding strikes when in𒉰 the clinch and in turn it’s easier and smoother than ever to escape. Players can also grab a leg and carry their opponents around the cage before s🧜lamming them. This both looks very cool and allows the attacker to get into a better position for ground and pound or submissions.
1 Worst: Tyson Fury And Anthony J𝐆oshua
With both the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fight Night Champion and EA’s UFC it’s very obvious that the developers at EA Vancouver are huge fight fans. This would explain why the developers have🍌 added arguably two of the best boxers this generation as pre-order bonuses.
However, being boxers, they don’t quite fit in the realm of mixed martial arts. In addition, it’s also a depressing reminder to die-hard boxing fans that there hasn’t been another game in the Fight Night series since 2011. It's great being able to set up an in-game dream fight between Tyson Fury and current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic but EA should just bring back the Fight Night 🦩series so combat fans will have the best of b🧸oth worlds.
