168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring retains many of the staples of previous FromSoftware games, from similar checkpoints and levelling up to combat sy🦋stems that are featured in all the Souls series of games. The culmination of all these things, however, is the boss fights that test your skills while providing a visual feast.

The best bosses in Elden Ring come with not only one form, but a second phase as well, usually with expanded move sets and potentially an entirely new boss. These second phases go a long way in making the bosses of Elden Ring feel more interesting and engaging, with their additional mechanics and a🐬ttack patterns to learn.

10 Margit, The Fell Omen 🦂

The second phase of the Margit the Fell Omen boss fight in Elden Ring

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Margit, the Fell Omen is the first story-related boss that most people playing Elden Ring will come across, and he presents a steep increase in difficulty. Overcoไming this challenge requ𒁏ires you to drain his health all the way, but at 60 percent health he undergoes a phase change.

Margit's second phase is not terribly dissimilar to the first phase, but he adds a number of moves with his big golden hammer that hit hard and fast. With enough effort he can be overcome, but Margit and his more specialized second phase attacks do not make this an easy fight.

9 ꧟ 🍸 Crucible Knight

Elden Ring Crucible Knight Angelic Slash

One of the first bosses you can fight after coming into the open world of Elden Ring, the Crucible Knight is located in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Stormveil Evergaol. This ✃is a super aggressive battle, and is even more so once you get them down to about half health.

At the start of the phase two, the Crucible Knight jumps up༺ into the air and flies towards you. From there, the second phase gives them dragon attacks, like flight, but also a couple of tail sw💝ipe attacks that have surprising range with very little telegraph. This is a tough fight, so make sure you have the damage and healing to take him on before going into the Evergaol.

8 ඣ Rennala, Queen Of The Moon 🐈

Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon boss battle in Elden Ring

While certainly not a difficult fight, especially when compared to some of the entries on this list, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rennala, Queen of the Moon is still a boss fight that is cool to encounter. The first half i✃s fought in a library setting that is pretty normal by Souls standards, but a🎶t the entry of the second phase you change locations.

The new area has a massive moon in the distance, and is covered in water that reflects the battle beautifully. In phase two Rennala gets access to a range of sorceries and spirit summons she can use against you. She does not have much health in this phase, so it is the visual feas♎t provided that makes this battle memorable.

7 Maliketh, The Black Blade 𒁏

Elden Ring Maliketh, the Black Blade looking menacing, wielding weapon

Technically, this boss is a second phase. The first phase of this fight is against the Beast Clergyman, a much easier fight, though still requiring some dexterity. After bringing the Clergyman to half health, he transforms into Maliketh, The Black Blade, bringing a significant boost to speed an🍬d power.

Maliketh feels straight out of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne in a number of 🤡ways, the main reason being the extremely high speed at which he attacks and dodges. Striking Maliketh requires precise timing to dodge attacks, while still trying to leave room to get damage in before he jum💜ps away.

6 Godfrey, First Elden Lord ♏

After fight꧙ing a ghost version of him earlier, coming across Godfrey, First Elden Lord is a somewh♔at disappointing surprise. He even shares the same move set with his ghostly counterpart. But then you get him to half health, and it is revealed that Godfrey is also Horah Loux, Warrior, from the intro cutscene.

The fight changes shape entirely in the second phase, as Horah Loux gets rid of his axe and uses a range of unarmed attacks instead. A number of high-damage grabs are added to thꦗis phase that honestly look like wrestling moves, but overall the fight is not particularly difficult — as long as you have a decent amount of health.

5 🍸 ♔ Fire Giant

The Fire Giant in Elden Ring

After progressing through the Mountaintops of the Giants area, you will eventually come face-to-face with the Fire Giant. Locking🐻 on to the boss reveals his weak point to be his injured leg. After attacking it for a while the leg will break, and he will move into the second ph🌄ase.

A cutscene plays in which he rips off his own leg and offers it to the sky in return for better magic power. The second phase of the Fire Giant fight is definitely 🌱harder than the first, as his weak point changes to his hands — which are hard to hit, as he is constantly swiping at you with them.

4 Rykard, Lord Of Blasph🎶ꩲemy

The Tarnished prepares to confront the God-Devouring Serpent and Rykard, Lord Of Blasphemy in Elden Ring

Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy is Elden Ring's version of the Storm King and Yhorm the Giant boss fights from previous Souls games. Upon entering 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:his cool boss arena, you can pick up the Serpent Hunter spear. This deals extra damage to Rykard, and has extended range ♈when used in this fight.

Upon draining the God-Devouring Serpent's health fully, it will transform into Rykard. It gains a number of magical attacks and notably a massive, snake-covered sword. This second phase is seriously chaotic, so make sure to keep an eye on your health to avoid death by exploding magic skull.

3 🦩 Starscourge Radahn

Radahn crash landing into the earth in Elden Ring

The battle against Starscourge Radahn is one of the more unique boss fights in Elden Ring. Rather than tacklingꦿ the general alone, you have the option to summon a slew of helpers to take down the boss. After draining his health to the halfway point, Radahn will relocate to space and jump high into the sky.

He t✃hen plummets back down at high speed, and attempts to ram you. The second phase is not entirely different from the first — he mainly just adds more gravity magic attacks — but the amazing comet phase transition alone puts Radahn higher up on this list.

2 ♋ Godrick The Grafted

Godrick the Grafted greets you after you make your way through the Stormveil Castle Legacy Dungeon. He is absolutely cove෴red in arms, so when you get him down to half health it is somewhat unsurprising when he removes one of them.

He then attaches a dragon's head to the stump, and everything suddenly makes sense. Aside from why no one has thought of putting a dragon's head on their arm before, it really works for Godrick. It allows him to use sweeping area-of-effect attacks, as well as a number of ranged fire breath attacks.

1 🧸 Malenia,♏ Blade Of Miquella

Malenia, Blade of Miquella, entering her second phase as she is consumed by Scarlet Rot in Elden Ring.

Simply arriving at Malenia, Blade of Miquella is a feat of its own, given how difficult ๊and complicated it is to make your way to the Consecrated Snowfield and then to the Haligtree. She marks a spike in difficulty for the gamಌe, featuring not only high damage and fast movement but the ability to heal when she hits you.

After draining Malenia's health completely and sighing in relief, a cutscene plays out — after which it is revealed that she has another full health bar. In addition, she now can inflict you with Scarlet Rot, a condition that drains your health over time. She has even more moves, too, like the infamous Waterfowl Dance — an attack that can easily kill you if not avoided properly.
