A centaur with command over Holy, Fulghor will punish any challengers that try to stand their ground. With the speed of a horse and no way to dismount them, you have to match Fulghor's speed if you want a chance of🅠 taking them dowꩵn.
Darkdrift Knight's Strengths And Weaknesses
The Darkdrift Knight, Fulghor, is thankfully quite predictable in terms of their moveset, and that makes it a bit easier to manage just what you should be bringing into this battle. For one, they are quite fast, so lighter weapons will be what shines in this encounter. And if you really want to take htem down a notch, you'll want to bring along some Lightning weapons. While it does decent damage, Lightning really shines in how it can cancel Fulghor's most powerful attacks instantly.

When it comes to defending against Fulghor, then you will need to boost both your Affinity and Physical resistances, with Holy and Slash in plentiful supply here. With Lighting on your side, you can avoid the bulk of 😼the Holy attacks, so it is worth inv🔯esting in Physical resistances over Affinities if forced to make the choice between them.
Recommended Characters
Fulghor is fast, exceedingly so. So fast, in fact, that it is basically pointless bringing slower characters who heavily expend stamina when they dodge or sprint. They move around constantly so you'll want to bring along �꧅�character's that can keep up.
To start off, Wydler is an easy choice. They are fast, and Greatswords fit the perfect middle ground of speed and damage. Plus the Claw Shot makes it easy to track down Fulghor when💜 they start sprinting ar🤡ound the area.
Executor is another good call. While they don't have the same speed to keep up with Fulghor, their deflection is an incredible way of whittling down their stance since Executor can deflect just about all of his attacks. The Ultimate Art is also 💟a great way of catching them no matter where they run, with its att𒅌acks able to break stance even faster.
Ironeye can work here too, though the speed at which Fulghor moves can make it hard for their arrows to keep up with them. Raider can be good if you can keep Fulghor slow, but otherwise their Colossal weapons will likel﷽y be too slow to even hit Fulghor.
Revenant can be useful too. While her HP is ridiculously low, her summons can cover a lot of ground, and she can gain access to plenty of powerful Lightning Incantations through Sacred Seals. Recluse ✤on the other hand will not as easily be able to take advantage of 🥂Lightning and will lack the ability to deal excessive damage to Fulghor.
Darkdrift Knight's Moveset
Like all other Nightlords, Fulghor is split into two phases, though their second phase is a tad more different than other bosses. It is an extension ofꦆ many of their first phase attacks, though their physical changes cause them to have a reliance on their neweer moves instead.
On top of the changed moves, Fulghor also sprints around much more in their second phase, so be prepared to give chase. Here are♈ all of their moves and how to counter them:

When you see Fulgho♌r jump, try to dodge before he lands. Runn♍ing away will put you too far away to do damage.
Swipes And Stabs
As Fulghor ✱dashes around the arena, he will swipe and stab with his spear, like a Tree Sentinel does.
Just dodge into Fulghor 𒅌to avoid this attack and keep yourself close at the same time.
Debris Swipe
Fulghor will suddenly stop his spring and dig his spear into the gr📖ound to shoot a wav꧒e of debris at you.
As before, dodge as soon as the speak is lifted from the gr🌠ound, and try to get closer to Fulghor at the same time.
Stomp
Fulghor will halt a sprint by suddenly stomping in front of himself,🌊 knocking away anyone in front of him.
Try to keep to Fulghor's sides to avoid taking the brunt🌳 of this attack.
Sword Drag
Fulghor will d🔴rag his spear as he charges towards you, attacking along the whole length⛎ of the animation.
Just keep your distance during this attack as its ranged is not too wi⛦de.
Spear Enhance
Fulgho🌟r will stand still and charge his spear. If he succeeds, his attacks will gain more power and spears will rise from the ground.
Target Fulghor with lightning to instantly cancel him charging this attack, or bre🌟ak his stance with Ultimate Arts.

Rising Swords
After a Spear Enhance, multiple spears willไ rise 🐠from the ground across the whole arena.
Keep on the move and stay close to Fulghor. Staying still is the most surefire way t✅o get hit. Otherwise you must simply wait for them to disappear.
Arm Swipes
With his extended second 🐟arm, Fulghor will swipe around and in front of himself rapidly. This can be done thre﷽e times in quick succession.
Stay close to Fulghor, mainly to his side. These attacks mainly hit a small degree away from him to catch targ🐽ets at a distance, making it easier to keep close.
Miasma Spread
When swinging his arm, a purple miasma will be released that spread on the ground. This🧸 damages on impact, as well as if stood in.
Like the Arm Swipes, stay close as these tend to h🥂appen at a distance from Fulghor. The miasma disappears after a fe🐼w moments.
Miasma Slam
Fulghor jumps into the air like his previous Jumping Slam, though hits with a mওuch wider area-of-effect and leaves miasma for a brief 💙moment.

Tips For Beating Darkdrift Knight
When fighting Darkdrift Knight, bringing Lighting is massively helpful, but far from essential. It can instantly cancel their Spear Enhance move, but with all characters focused on them with powerful attacks, you 🐟can break their stance and cancel the attack almost as easily. As such, it is imperative while fighting Fulghor to stay as close to them as poss𓆉ible.
Don't be afraid to use your Ultimate Arts against Fulghor, either. ☂Even if not for dealing damage, these are a great way to force him to stop sprinting, and allow slower characters like Raider the chance to pull in and deal massive damage.
