There are 37 Achievements/Trophies to unlock.
So, while there are eight Expeditions, you'll be repeating a few to unlock more quests, and in some cases, for the quests themselves. To get every ending, you must also beat the final Nightlord with each Nightfarer — that's eight victories and however many failed attempts. You'll also get a Trophy/Achievement for doing so.
On top of that, you have the Shifting Earth events: the Mountaintop, Rotted Woods, Shrouded City, and Crater. Completing each of these rewards you with an Achievement/Trophy. However, you don't need to beat the Nightlord for it to count.
Depending on your skill level, 100 percenting Nightreign could take upward of 30 to 40 hours.
