You took a difficult task and made it even more difficult purely to prove you could. Secondly, Souls games are very simple at heart. You fight some minions to reach a boss, fight more minions to reach the next boss, and so forth. There are no moral dilemmas or snaking side quests that explore the human condition, and while die-hard fans will tell you a rich story lurks beneath the surface, Souls games are essentially a gauntlet of tougher and tougher things to kill.
