Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree introduces Carian princess Rellana and a new child of Marika in Messmer.
One fan put together a family tree when Elden Ring launched to show how all of the demigods fit into Marika's dynasty.
They have now updated it to include these new characters.

Rellana Is Ranni, Radahn, Rykard, Messmer, Miquella, And Malenia's Aunt

Radagon married Rennala to quel the war between Liurnia and the Golden Orderꦍ, siring three children—Ranni the Witch, Starscourge Radahn, and Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. But the expansion introduces a new character also tied to this lineage,ꦍ Rellana.

The younger sister to Rennala (confusing, I know). "disavowed her birthright" as a Carian princess to become the Sword of Messmer, following her nephew into the realm of shadow. Like other Carian royalty, she first swore allegiance to the moon, but she brought that power together with Messmer's flame to become even stronger.

"Rellana's Twin Moons" sorcery tells us that she and Rennala met the moons together.

Marika's First Marriage To Godfrey Bore Three Children

Queen Marika's first marriage was to Hoarah Loux, a barbarian war chief who would lead the war against the blasphemous Fire Giants.

He later took the name Godfrey and became the first Elden Lord and king of the Lands Between. Together, they had three children, Godwyn, Morgott, and Mohg, two of which would be hidden underground as cur🅘sed omen, the third killed by Ranni after she stole a fragment of the Rune of Death from Maliketh.

Hoarah Loux also had a cꦯhild with an unknown woman, ♔Nepheli. Through her quest, she can even become the Lord of Stormveil.

But this marriage would dissolve as Godfrey was branded the first Tarnished and subsequently banished from the Lands Between. Radagon then abandoned his wife Rennala to become Marika's second husband. Although, we find out that Radagon and Marika are one and the same. Or at least, he was an aspect of her that she cast off, not unlike Miquella and St. Trina (which technically means Rellana is also Mohg, Morgott, and Godwyn's aunt).

Messmer The Impaler Is Miquella, Malenia, And Maybe Melina's Brother

Messmer is in his first phase, during his introduction cutscene. He is wearing a helm and holding his hand out as he holds a palm-full of fire

In Elden Ring, we meet Miquella and Malenia, twins who are cursed from birth no doubt because of their single parentage. Miquella is eternally young and Malenia hosts the outer god of scarlet rot. This theme of cursed blood continues into the expansion as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:we meet another child of ✱Marika the Eternal—Messmer.

He was born with a dark Abyssal Serpent writhing inside of him that threatens to consume🧸 his very being. Marika removed one of his eyes and sealed away the serpent with her grace, and later sent him on a quest to purge the realm of shadow in a fiery crusade. His mother would never return.

In his youth, Messmer grew close to Radahn and was even described as an "older brother"-like figure. He is also technically the uncle of Millicent, who we find out through 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:her and Gowry's quests is Malenia's daughter.

He might also be related to Melina. There is a huge amount of evidence that she is Marika's daughter, even if it's never outright confirmed in-game. There are corresponding butterfly crafting items for Malenia, Miquella, Messmer, and Melina, not to mention the similar naming conventions which we know are often tied to lineage. Messmer's Kindling even says that "much like his younger sister, [he] bore a vision of fire", and we know that Melina saw and later enacted the burning of the Erdtree.

Another damning piece of evidence is that she was born at the foot of the Erdtree, and overlaying the Land of Shadow and Lands Between maps places the Shaman Village—Marika's home—at the foot. This is where she says her "mother gave me my purpose". It feels safe to say that the two are related, making Messmer her brother.
