E🍬lden 𒐪Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree - Divine Beast Dancing Lion Boss Guide
Here's how to slay the Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss found in the Belurat Tower Settlement in Elde🍸n Ring: Shadow of thꦑe Erdtree!
And, if that wasn't eno🀅ugh, the dungeon is capped off with a fight against the Death Knight, which is a surprisingly challenging mini-boss encounter, considering most of the bosses found within the base game's dungeons weren't all that demanding.
Fog Rift Catacombs: First Layer Walkthrough
After taking the lift down into the catacombs and resting at the Site of Grace, head down the steps to encounter your first Stone Imp enemy of the dungeon. Quickly dispatch it and loot the nearby items to receive a .
From there, head through the corridor on the left, then stand just before the entrance into the first room of the dungeon. A spike trap will come crashing down in front of you, then raise back up into the ceiling. Wait for the trap to crash down once more, then make a break to the left side of the room when it begins rising again and take cover in the small alcove.
Next, wait for the spike trap to crash down once more, then quickly sprint to the doorway at the northern end of the room. You will run past three Stone Imp enemies here, so turn around in the doorway and dispatch them before moving forward.
With the Stone Imps taken care of, push into the second room of the first layer to find a robed spellcaster on top of a bridge. If you're not a magic user or lack ranged options, just run underneath the bridge to find another Stone Imp just on the other side of the bridge. Take care o𒁃f the Imp, then head through the doorway into the third r♑oom.
Once in the third room, a Stone Imp will launch fireballs at you from atop a stone walkway, with pathways to the left and right of you. If you don't have the proper means of dealing with the Stone Imp, we strongly recommend running quickly to the room on the right.
When in the room to the right, there will be another Fireball Stone Imp directly to the left of the doorway. Quickly take care of it, then be on alert for a standard Stone Imp in the back left corner of the room. Dispatch this Imp as well, then loot the item to obtain the .
After looting the Cookbook, run directly into the room in front of you and follow the staircase down, stopping at the very edge of it. Once here, you will see another spike trap directly above you. Wait for it to come crashing down, then jump on top of it and ride it up to find an elevated floor with a Fireball Stone Imp on it.
Jump off the lift and dispatch the Fireball Stone Imp, loot the nearby item to receive , and snag the nearby before proceeding to the next step.
From there, turn around, jump back on top of the lift, and head through the elevated doorway to the right. Once inside, you will find another robed spellcaster. Take care of them how you see fit, then follow the pathway out until you reach the bridge from earlier with the previous robed spellcaster.
Eliminate the spellcaster on the bridge, then head across it and up the stairs, here you will find two enemies standing guard outside of a room that has even more enemies within it. Bait the first two enemies to you, deal with them first, then push into the room and dispatch the Knight and Warrior inside.
Loot the item in the guarded room to receive a . Then don't run off just yet, as you can acc🥀🅰ess another secret in this area!
From the room with the Great Ghost Glovewort, head straight and look to the left to find a series of stone arches and pillars. The very first arch on the left will have a spike trap above it, trigger it to have it come crashing down, then jump on top of it to ride it up.
Once here, you will find a doorway on the opposite end of the lift. Make your way over to it and head inside, then follow the pathway to a sarcophagus at the end of the hallway with an item on top. Loot this item to receive the Spirit Ash: Black Knight Commander Andreas.
After obtaining your new Spirit Ash, head out of the room and then to the right, leap out the window to land where you just were!
Next, return to the staircase that leads to a dead end, wait for the spike trap to crash and rise all the way back up, then leap off the steps and head into the room directly behind you on the ground floor. Gather the and the , wait for the spike trap to trigger again, and sprint forward onto the lift, taking it down into the second layer!
Fog Rift Catacombs: Second Layer Walkthrough
With the first layer of the Fog Rift Catacombs cleared, you will activate a Stake of Marika upon entering the second layer, meaning if you happen to die, you have the option to respawn at the very start of this layer instead of all the way back at the Site of Grace at the beginning of the first𒁏 layer.
In the first room of the second layer, you will find a couple of Stone Imps and some and you can gather𝓡, along with a room directly in front of you and to the left.
Entering the room to the north will have a robed spellcaster in it, along with a Stone Imp. Take down both of these enemies as you see fit, then loot the item nearby to receive a .
After that, head to the room that was on the left, and bait the spike trap to crash down, then quickly make your way to the left side of the room, taking cover in the alcove within the wall. There will be a Stone Imp that drops down in the alcove with you, so dispatch it quickly.
Bait the spike trap again, then make your way to the second alcove just a bit further up from where you are. This nook will have a part of its floor missing, and we recommend jumping into the hole to reach the basement for some extra goodies.
There will be robed spellcasters down here, along with Skeletal Slime monsters, so be wary of them as you explore the basement. You will collect down here, along with even more and even the Electrocharge Incantation. After gathering these items, climb up the long ladder to the beginning of the second layer!
After returning to the beginning of the second layer, head back into the room with the hole in the floor, but continue heading north toward the spellcaster and Stone Imps. Again, bait the spike trap the cras🦹h land, then move from alcove ꦆto alcove before breaking toward the staircase.
Eliminate the four Stone Imps and lone robed spellcaster, then loot the sarcophagus to obtain a . Before moving onward, head to where the spellcaster was initially to bait the spike trap again, revealing a small area you can jump inside.
Leap into the side of the lift and ride it up to reveal a Chest. Loot the Chest to obtain the Ash of War: Blinkbolt. From here, bait the spike trap once more, then leap on top of it to find a doorway to the far right on the opposite end of the room. Run across the lift and head through the doorway to find yet another item: the !
Next, head back to the room where the robed spellcaster and Stone Imps were and head through the doorway to the northeast. The room right after this will have another spike trap; just bait it like the others, then run to the area on the opposite end of the room to find a lift. Take this lift down into the third and final layer of the Fog Rift Catacombs!
Fog Rift Catacombs: Death Knight Boss Fight Guide
You've finally made it to the third and final layer of the Fog Rift Catacombs, but, as expected, instead of a way out, you must first go through a boss, and this one is no joke. The Death Knight has many tricks up its sleeve that will make your already exhausting journeꦿy through this dungeon feel even more perilous.

Death Knight: Electric Whirlwind
While the Death Knight has many basic attacks, we would like to highlight three of the more annoying and potent attacks that will help you get the edge over him in combat and ultimately beat him. Once you know how to deal with 🍌these actions, you should be more than fine.
The first move is his Electric Whirlwind, where he imbues his Twin Axes in lightning before twirling violently toward you, dealing tremendous amounts of damage if you get caught up in it. The moment you see his axes become electrified, begin running sideways, then continue rolling in that direction as he gets closer.
If you avoid this attack, you can follow up with two to three hits, but we don't recommend trying to squeeze in any more than that, as he hurts and i🦋s surprisingly swift!
Death Knight: Lightning Spears
Next is his Lightning Spears, where he will summon an arrangement of Lightning Orbs in front of himself before launching several Spears of Lightning at you. As soon as the orbs appear, stop what you're doing, then roll to the left or right the moment one fires toward you to evade taking damage. You will likely be too far away from him to attack, so just remain on the defensive afterward!
Death Knight: Healing Grab
Finally, his most annoying action is his Healing Grab, which has him perform a really cool-looking animation where he hunkers down and sprouts black and white wings before instantly dashing toward you with his arm outstretched. If he makes contact with you here, he will grab hold of you, hold you high in the air, and drain your HP while replenishing his own. It's brutal.
The moment you see him sprout wings, stop moving and wait for him to dash at you. As soon as you see him approach you, dodge to the left or right to avoid his grab, then follow up with two to three attacks of your own to punish his mistake!
