We finally come face-to-face with the enigmatic Miquella at the end of Shadow of the Erdtree. He has been planning all of this time to bring forth the Age of Compassion, but he sees us—the Tarnished—as the last barrier in bringing that dream to life. So, he plucks his Promised Consort Radahn from th✤🌄e past, resurrecting this infamous boss in his prime.

It's an ominous scene as we watch the notoriously difficult Radahn stand tall, even stronger than before, now bolstered by Miquella's magic. He's silent, never speaking a word while he grinds us into dust. However, one fan dug into the internal files of the DLC and translated the original Japanese text and found that Radahn was intended to speak at one point in development, introducing himself before the battle began.

According to this Reddit user, he was supposed to say, "I am Radahn. Born of red-maned Radagon, and Rennala of the Full Moon. A lion bred for battle." For whatever reason, FromSoftware cut the dialogue completely in favour of the quiet, hulking bruiser who is humbling countless 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring players as we speak.

Some theorise that it's because of the line "bred for battle", given that Radahn was summoned by Miquella to help usher in the Age of Compassion. From Miquella's perspective, Radahn is a kinder god than most, holding the stars in place above Limgrave and even learning gravitational magic so that he would not crush his horse.

Of course, this is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a George R. R. Martin story and things aren't so black-and-white, Miquella's POV is rife with naivety, but marching into the arena proudly proclaiming his bloodlust would've completely clashed with how they saw Radahn.
